Problem Starting Game

hello, recently the cd player on my laptop started acting up, so i purchased an extenal cd-dvd burner. at first when i tried to start enigma it couldnt find the cd so i uninstalled and reinstalled from the new external drive, but no help, still no disc found. what do i need to do to run from the new drive? is enigma leaving something in the registry evan after uninstall so it still looks to the old drive when reinstalled? any suggestions appreciated. thanks, tom.

After you uninstalled ERT, did you remove the remaining files from the install directory?

nopes not really, just that you might need to sweep the registry file
