The times do not seem clearly posted.
Since summer , BST applies ,, ( GMT + 1 ) anyway !
More importantly , 10 am Pacific time , would be 6pm BST .
Central European time would then be 7 pm.( GMT + 2 ..In summer ! )
CST Central Standard Time ,,like wise becimes CDT , central daylight time , during summer ..and is 6 hours behind BST --- all clear so far...More confused ? heeee.. OK Easy way .. Greenwich is 5 hours later than New York ,,and is not " Greenwich mean time ,, except in Winter !! and became that a week earlier than New York ,,,but will change back on the same week in Winter !! Ok ?
I won't try mentioning Wintertime is Australia or the odd half hours there !

He's giving both as Pacific Time Zone times of April 13, and reminding people that's 8 hour behind GMT
I believe that is 7 hours behind GMT .
8 hours behind BST
9 hours behind Central Europe Time.
BST ( British Summer Time ,, and Cen Eu. Time , have altered two weeks ago, and USA did last week . )
The times given were also reversed ..... NOT " UK 10am" & " Pacific 6pm ".
When it's New York 1 pm it's 6pm in UK , and 7 pm in Cen.Europe .
If that is meant to be ... PACIFIC - 10 am ---UK 6pm .. Then it is not 6 pm GMT . 6pm local UK time , and 5pm GMT .
GMT applies during winter as the local clock time .
Local time moves in ALL time zones mentioned .

Umm just so you dont think that the GMTzones changes cause of daylight savings.
UK is GMT when BST is in effect UK is still GMT + BST, not GMT+1 (the zone doesnt move, even that your hours do.)
Central Europe is GMT+1 and with daylight savings in effect its GMT+1 + DS.(the zone doesnt move, even that your hours do.)
EU and UK and most other countries uses the same dates for DS and its always the last sunday of March and back again the last sunday of October.
Eugene, OR is is PST (pacific standard time) GMT-8 + PDT and the clock there is now: Apr. 09, 03:22:45 AM PDT and here in CET its Apr. 09, 12:22:45 PM GMT+1/DS
So Central Europ is 9 hours ahead of East, and UK is 8 hours ahead.
Date: April 13, 2004 at 6pm PDT is 2am in UK and 3am in CET. (yes it's late night in Europe when its dinner time in USA.)
If you want any Europeans to attent you best find a better time, like 10-11am PDT. East knows that...

and just FYI: Japan is the only industilized countries that doesnt use Daytime Savings

Clearly - I mentioned there are two different time zones for these meetings - but if not let me make it more clear...
We are having TWO voice chat sessions...
ONE is at 10am pacific..
ONE is at 6pm pacific...
Hopefully you will be able to figure out the difference between pacific time zone and the time zone wherever YOU live... then apply it to one of these meeting times and decide whether you will be more available early or later...
The reason we set the first session for UK at 10am pacific, is because we know it is about dinner time then and UK or EU will most likely be off work and at home by then... if not, then join the late late night session, when pacific time is at 6pm..
See you there!

On that note:
10am PDT is = 6pm in UK and 7pm in Central Europe, 8pm in Eastern Europe, and so on.
6pm PDT = 2am in UK and 3am in Central Europe, 4am in Eastern Europe, and so on.
