When is the Patch due? They single player is so unbalanced, that I've just about lost interest in this game and am only a few key strokes from uninstalling the software.
It was a good game at first, but due to the lack of balance and the never arriving patch, I'll be forced to persue other ventures.
So, If anyone has info that is concrete, pls reply. Much appreciated. fire:

Well, it seems you missed the patch release last week: Check out www.warfleet.net for the latest news.
As for unbalanced...I'm not sure what you are referring to. Most players have completed more than 1 campaign and many players have finished nearly all the campaigns. The game was extensively tested for balance and playability and EVERY scenario is winnable. If we couldn't win it in-house we modified it until it could be.
If the game is too hard for you that's one thing, if you just don't like it that is another. But calling it unbalanced is very innaccurate.
BTW, in the latest patch - yes a FREE upgrade to your game - is an enhanced easy mode. You don't have to try different tactics, you can just use the FPS approach and hammer away. You will however get your ass handed to you should you try it in multiplayer.

The patch does address some game balance issues, particularly with regard to missions that some folk found "impossible" (note that I completed all 66 campaign missions pre-patch, so I can vouch the fact that none were truly impossible!)
Unlike most games, the developers actually read and heed the comments in these forums. So if you have a specific issue just say what it is and, you never know, it might make its way into a future upgrade!

East, can you please expand on what's in the "enhanced Easy mode"? - How does it differ from the other settings? - I couldn't find anything in the readme...

There was a post on it somewhere - I know it grants you max ammo, but there may be other effects too.

Unpatched , I have completed all missions , or so I thought ... but the final German Surface 10B is the one I couldn't do recently .
Maybe I did it earlier . I can't remember for sure , and I have deleted a few old IDs . ! The mission where you seem to get blown up within minutes , often. Maybe some luck is needed, and repeated attempts .
