My Ign Voicepack Is Complete

It's 2.7 megs. I covered all the IGN voice commands. I've used a voice that some of you may have been to sea with before. Some responses are just "yes captain", and some don't seem to work like "firing bow" when you are looking through the periscope. But it works when you are on the surface. Don't know why.

I compressed it using the compressing tool that comes with XP. Included in it is "my_voicepack" folder with all the wav files and my "commandresponse.txt" file.

These are profesional sounding wav files with a German accent.

Let me know if you like it.

Cool. It's allready got it's first update too. I've allready updated the main file so those getting it now will be good. But for those who allready got it, I found a typo in the commandresponse.txt for "tubes starboard" which I fixed and I remixed the "rigging for dive" wav.

Again, these are only needed if you allready installed the pack before March 1st.

Well if you have the patch, you just need extract the "my_voicepack" folder and the "commandsresponse.txt" file from the "my_voicepack.zip" file and then place those two items into the Enigma directory.

You then have to make sure the new voice response option is checked in your preferences screen and the volume is up.

Nice Job--alot of work...I installed to ert program file,but I get no voice response while playing...Any help on this problem?? thanks Andy
Had the same problem...now fixed :P

Un-zipped to a temp folder, and put the "my_voicepack" and "commandsresponse.txt" into the ERT directory,turned on and maxed up the voice response option in the Preferences screen...and got no voice response.

Removed them, and did a direct unzip into ERT...checked settings were ok...still no response.

Left everything still in place and did a System Restore to a period before the installation, and Bingo...everything is great cheesburga:

Don't know if this is a fluke, but I'm now fully operational. Might work for you.

Thanks a lot...the voicepack is great.

Had a couple of probs getting it going (see my response to Andbon, above),

but it is a tremendous enhancement to this splendid game.

I lean to the RNE, but can't stop playing as IGN simply because of this voicepack rolleyes:

Great work...wish you would do an RNE job....be a few interesting voices in that buxton:
