T26E4 Super Pershing
Imagine a vehicle with a gun so big that it's necessary to counter its weight with a block of steel at the back of the turret. Now, add some scavenged Panther armour and you'll get the beast that is the Super Pershing! 

 


H8K2
With 38 meters of wingspan, the H8K2 is not only among the largest aircraft in War Thunder, but in the entirety of World War II. Featuring five machine guns and five cannons, this Flying Boat is going to sting. 

 


Volokolamsk
Autumn, 1941. The German Wehrmacht is less than 150 kilometers away from Moscow, and the infamous and arctic Russian Winter is about to turn hot, as tanks and aircraft clash around the Volokolamsk region. 

 


Do-335 "Pfeil"
The twin-engined Do-335 comes with a propeller at both the front and back and will join German hangars in multiple versions with the next Update. Heavily armed, the "Pfeil" is surely going to be a player favourite.

 

 


T-44-100

Where is my H8K2?

Japanese just received the KI84 attacker, don't understand me wrong, I'm really glad they are put new japanese planes into the game. For me it's every time a great expirience to fly these planes and see how they work and I can't await to fly this flying boat. I mean 5 cannons and 5 mashine guns make this bomber up to the strongest defense bomber for the japanese. If I'm not wrong you would call this kind of planes gun ships like the B17 bomber. And who ever fly the japanese planes would be agree they are not overpowered or too strong so this is just fair to put this kind of plane into the game.

And btw congratulation for the P61 for all those play the americans.

Review of KI-83

 

 

 



 

Dear Pilots,

 

Since today my Ki-83 is fully upgraded and now I'm feel able to say something about this attacker.

As each other plane has the KI-83 pro and cons

I have played this plane in arcade and realistic battle to see the difference. First lets start with the positiv things about the plane:

• High climb rate per second that means this is proabably the best prop climber in game
• Strong armament 2 x 30 mm and 2 x 20mm cannons with enough ammunition to kill 3 or 4 enemys in a realistic battle
• Strong hull in form of diving you can easy reach over 900kmh before the wings are ripped off.
• Good speed increasing from the start.
• Good turn rate for a attacker.

 

Now the negative points:

• Really weak hull, sometimes one bullet is enough to set you on fire.
• No self closing tanks like other planes, I never put out a fire every time I died when someone hits me and a fire breaks out.
• High battle ranking, you will really often macthed against enemy jets like the P80
• High weapon spreading in case they have all weapons in the nose.
• Light wing damages became really fast fatal and you can easy lost the controll because the weight of this plane is much higher than other.

 

So all in all this plane is defently not my favorite and don't find the way into may basic line up because the negative aspects are higher as the positiv. This plane is created to wait for other players which are flying wrong or do mistakes, run out of energy or dont fly away when you came from behind. Sure this plane can be a great bomber hunter but just if all the gunners in the bombers are dead, jumped out or on drugs, If you fly again a B29, B17 or A20 the enemy gunners will lough at you. I swear to god my plane has a own soul and a high fear about bullets. Sometimes one little bullet hits me and bam directly on fire and my plane is run into panic and try to fall down into the next sea or ocean to put the fire out. And oh lord this plane has 2 crewmembers, one pilot and attention one gunner? Oo I mean are they serious, is this  a joke or something else? I don't have any weapons in my back so for which reason is a gunner sitting 2 meters behind the pilot and my offensive armament is in front of the pilot.

 

Did anyone have make experience with the P61 Black Widow? and will try to share the experience? I believe this attacker is much much better as the japanese fire ball Pokemon.

Dear Pilots,

In addition one review about the flying boat aka gunship

I will speak about the normal plane and not the premium but I think there is not a big diference.

So let's start again with the positiv things about this plane and after this the negative.

 

Positiv:

• Very good defense armament for a 3.2 battle ranking, so you have 5 7.7mm mashine guns and 5 20mm mashine canons. Don't worry about the 5 7.7mm because at thi battle ranking there are no much enemys with strong armor so you are able to cut off wings with the 7.7mm as well and every mashine gun is several placed to get a 360° defense.
• Very good armor against enemy weapons if they shoot on you with small caliber, except 20mm or higher.
• Good speed in case of the size.
• Good stabilty if you have high damage on the wings or the direct hull.
• Good bomb carry weight, so you can choose betwen 2 torpedos, a lot of small bombs or 2 800kg bombs if you have fully researched.

Negative:

 

• Difficult to rearm, because the normal way means to land near a friendly carrier and you don't have a wheel brake in the water so you need some training to know at which point you must land into the water because you can't really turn, mostly you need to land on a airstrip but must know you have a higher reapir time because something will defently go broke.
• Slow turnrate, I mean seriously this bomber is so big no one must wonder about the turn rate.
• Low climb rate, and this plane is proably not constructed to reach high altitudes.
• Very fast IAS maximum so this means don't dive to fast or your wings will come back later when they are feel ready to go down on the altitude.

 

So all in all this plane is defently a good gunship but the only problem ont he begining is you start with 2 torpedos, so you must research the bombs pods before you can attack ground targets. So my tip here is play realistic mode to upgrade this plane, because the most japanese maps are in the pacific with some boats and you can seperatly fire the torpedos so you can destroy 2 naval targets minimum each map. And don't worry about enemy fighters of course they will try to shoot you down but 10 guns on your plane will show them you are not a easy target. In one round in realistic I killed 3 enemys planes they tried to killed me. As is prevoisly said the armor of the most planes in this BR is not so strong and this makes the plane so dangerous. This is defenetly a plane for my line up then I play arcade or sometimes realistic low BR.

And the best thing in my opinion are the 4 engines this hold the plane very stable and keep it allive if one ore two are failed out.

 

If you want to show all of them the strong power of japanes planes, this is defently your choose.
