Real Time Strategy players?

Does anyone play RTS games? I just fired up Wargame Airland Battle and the full Command & Conquer series and wanted to test the waters. The C&C games have pretty low system requirements too for people without huge gaming PCs.

Also, through Feb 17, 2014 at 10am PST, Origin (Steam for EA) has 50% off almost everything if you use coupon code LOVE. That should make the Command & Conquer Ultimate version (every game and expansion) about $10 plus tax etc.

C&C has a small learning curve and is fun to play for even short games. Wargame has a higher learning curve and is rewarding in a different way but not for the faint of heart.

I love RTS.  I have all C&C games.  Played the Dune series as well.  I have Supreme Commander installed (modern day Total Annihilation  same guys made both).  I also have the all Starcraft II games installed and am awaiting the third to be released.  :)

They were once the ultimate games to play. I played every C&C and every other similar RTS game including the dune series made by the same studio. The last best RTS I have played was R.U.S.E.. Wargame Airland Battle seems ok, but I will wait until the price drops. I have always been a fan of "dystopia' games. Games set in a post-apocalyptic environment. Soldiers of Anarchy was a perfect example of that. Now they make more FPS type of games like Fallout. The immersive experience is better in FPS. Right now I've been looking into Dayz and will soon try the other one RUST.

I have Supreme Commander with the DLC forged aliance. I have all of the Command and Conquer series (preferring Generals with the DLC Zero Hour). I do play from time to time Star Craft II, but have been doing it less and less. I also have Wargame with the DLC Airland battle. Sadly I am not too good at that one. I also have Age of Empires (2 &3), Rome Total War II (only added Cesar in Gaul out of all DLC), Medieval Total War II with DLC, Total War Shogun II (no DLC), and all the Stronghold games excluding #3. No, sadly the list is not over. v.v I do have Dawn of Fantasy (free to play medieval fantasy RTS), and it is okay, but it is a watered down mmo version of the stronghold genera. I have Starwars Empire at War with the DLC, and finally reaching the end of my list, I had (I need to check to see if they are still there) all of the Company of Heros (1 & 2) and Dawn of War (1 & 2) series. 

As you can guess, I have a thing for RTS games. 9.9

 

And yes I do have other games, I currently am more into the 3rd person/small army commander mode at the moment, but if you need a second armchair general to assist you, do not hesitate to request my assistance.
