There is some benefit to Engineers in the following setup that boosts your power levels.  Combined with your skills, and the new warp cores that can allow your abilities to go beyond 125, you can have unlimited power for a short time.

 

 

Emergency Power to Auxiliary – boosts your ships aux power level for 30 secs

§  Repairs disabled auxiliary systems

§  +80 Stealth for 30 sec

§  +75 StealthSight for 30 sec

§  +20 Auxiliary Power Setting for 30 sec

§  +15 Starship Graviton Generators for 30 sec

§  +15 Starship Particle Generator for 30 sec

§  +15 Starship Subspace Decompiler for 30 sec

 

Auxiliary to Battery, that diverts auxiliary power through the Emergency Battery to boost your weapons, shields, and engine.

§  +19.5 Weapon Power Setting for 10 sec

§  +19.5 Shield Power Setting for 10 sec

§  +19.5 Engine Power Setting for 10 secu

§  -40.7 Auxiliary Power Setting for 10 sec

 

Directed Energy Module/Beam shot: Directed Energy Modulation cycles the frequency of your energy weapons, resulting in increased shield penetration.

 

Combine this with other modules that boost your weapons power and warp cores that give bonus' of one system setting's energy to another, like Shield Power to Weapons.  You'll be dishing out some serious pain.
