Pc-gamer Reviews Enigma

andy mahood gave it a 77% citing it's downfalls in bomber ai, unrealistic radar and ammo amounts/reload rates. Also the lack of multiplayer was complained about... The article ends with a comment after the multiplayer complaint, "This oversight notwithstanding, Tesseraction has turned out a solid naval-combat action title that can be played and enjoyed by armchair admirals and first-time swabbies alike"
Only 2 screen shots =/ and it was only a 2/3 page article. It didn't do a very good job protraying the highlights, hell it didn't describe it aside from the low points. But there were some pluses that he listed.

77% isnt bad though.
ok this is interesting.. they put the review in twice. Anyone else have this?
Lo rcmodels,
is that in the pc gamer mag ? or is it on pc gamers's web space ? is the url www.pcgamer ?
its in the us pcgamer magazine. twice :)
..what version and date did they get to review it?
Wow!!
I usually trust PC Gamers judgement but I must say I think they might have "missed the boat" with this one.

A score of 77% would tend to make me shy away from titles that received such a low score now I think I'll take their "opinions" with a grain of salt.

I bet East forgot to send them the beer and  Krispy Kreme Doughnuts!

The USA PCGamer gave a higher score than the UK.  UK was 59 I think.  I was disappointed by Andy's review since I thought he was going to be playing it clear through before the review.  It appears that he didn't.  Let me say however that his review is pretty fair and certainly better thought out than the UK guys.
I think they gave it a shot....missed by miles and gave up.
No stamina some people. I read that review and I think it more or less says that if you like navy sims you will like this one. Sim games dont appeal to such a large percentage of players as other genres and it certainly didnt seem like it was reviewed by a sim game player at all. So I wouldnt worry too much about that review East, the sims players will like it well enough to stick at it. Although Im not 100 percent happy with the single player game I do feel that the environment created, which we will play multiplayer in, is fantastic and am looking forward to it immensely,
