Irfc Dolphins And Spad

Did up a Olive Drab Spad. Not historical. The RFC did use spads, but they tended to keep the 5 color camo. Still, it doesn't stop the plane from looking cool in olive drab!

Anyhow, I ran into a pickle. The Spad has very big fins and a big rudder. If I were to put the stripes further back, they would be invisible from above and many times from the sides. Having the stripes near the middle seemed best, but I wasn't sure whether to paint the entire tail end white or to leave it green and tan. Anyhow, take your pick and which one you like most



I also did up some IRFC Dolphin skins. Black cowling and a very intimidating red tipped nose. Here are some pics. Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions for them before I try to figure out that complicated text file and throw them to the polls.

Poll added. Also, I think I'll be going back to a regular, tan belly for the SPAD skin. Black all the way around just looked odd.

Still working to get them a decent shade of green, they came out pretty dark.

Next I suppose we just have to come out with Jasta colors? Hehe

I'll get back to work on completing custom skins for the SE5a soon. Right now we have leader, squadron and Darling's skin available as of the next update.
