I keep hearing folk that are interested in some gentle fun runs. If we can't get the numbers in FI on a given night, there's also The Blood Blades also who I think have similar numbers to us and would I think be happy to join up.

).First i wanna say that i enjoyed the raid last evening. Although we wiped a few times, i think with some small changes it can be avoided next time. For me personally it was a challenge as it was the first time healing in a raid (as a druid) and the fact that i've only done Nax once before (partionally).
Up to know, since i joined FI, it has been hard for me to raid because of work and some other things. However, i have now arranged it so i can raid at least once a week if we can stick to a certain evening. I'm not that flexible in moving evenings too often due to family life etc.
I want to run heroics as well, in order for me to practice more and to improve my gear. Especially my idol, offhand, trinkets and gloves need replacements. Btw, I don't think we need to start with a loot system but i do suggest we take quality of the gear into account when we roll for items. What i mean is, that it's shame for the group as a whole if someone wins an item and gets a minor upgrade, while the loser of the roll misses out on a big upgrade. What do you think? Any suggestions?
As you all probably heard, Aylun & Kintoll are going to take another break from WoW. I hope this one will be as short as the last one as we all enjoy their company! Anything we can do in order for you two to change your mind?
I shall await your answer untill i continue this post... Don't forget that Ace just came back (he promissed me to join us soon 
), which probably means that Vorter is waiting around the corner.

i have know idea how long we will be gone but it would be good if you lot kept at it (on wednesdays?) although from the looks of it vael is being outrun on the field of gear
(talking about itemlvls here)
if aylun and me do get back in the near future we could take a looksee into ulduar (if you don't already take a looksee yourselves
) making a sign up via calendar is pretty easy btw. took me only a half hour of tinkering before i figured the whole thing out.
as for the upgrade issue. i get a foul taste in my mouth each time i just think of a dkp-system. as long as there aren't too many outsiders involved i think a grown up attitude of "it'll drop again" should resolve issues. seeing gear isn't directly tied to a person anymore you can always have a polite 'whisper' with someone about the certain piece of gear.
on a more cynical note: it gets outdated pretty fast anyway when the next expansion hits.
so i guess these are my parting words for now. good luck on future raids folks. hopefully see you on the bookshelves next year

Just wanted to point out that although I have returned - it is only for a month. If I enjoy it then I probably will extend further. If I can make Wed night Naxx / Vintage RAIDS I will, but it will be an "on the night" decision. So if you find yourself short and I am online - just ask. My preference is BG's at the mo, I like the unpredictability of playing aginst human opposition. Have changed to Assassination and am getting used to a new playing style which aint easy. After 80 levels of combat spec it's hard to stop spamming Sinister Strike...

Re DKP, I'd chime in on the side no DKP here. We will only ever be raiding casually, so I'd like to think that loot can be taken or passed in a manner that is respectful to fellow guildies, same as in 5 mans. DKP is a big administrative overhead and generally causes as many problems as it solves.

Dkp...don't understand why you are bringing this up when I suggested not having a loot system? Only thing I suggested was that the lootmaster could intervene if there is a big difference in upgrade gain between members. Especially if it is a minor upgrade for a "guest raider" vs. a big upgrade for a permanent raid member. Nothing complicated about it and it would still be casual weekly raid. Nothing hardcore about it...
