I have contacted what I thought to be the CO via e-mail and am making my official application here.

I have flown many flight sims and was a member of a very talented bomber squadron in Aces High. Just picked up 1946 and am looking for a squad that can train me in dogfighting techniques and some of the finer points of IL2 which is new to me. For once I would love to be able to hold my own in air-air combat. Please get back to me and let me know when I can report for training.
