IL2 3D Converter. please help

Hiya im trying to get some help / find someone who may be able to help create a 3d converter for IL2 1946.

Presently there is no way to put new 3d into the game & this is really holding up the modding community. The only thing we can do at the moment is borrow bits of 3d from other aircraft in the game. We allready have heaps of Ai type aircraft (without any cockpits) just waiting for a cockpit, so to make these flyable into a fully flyable aircraft by player, we have borrowed cockpits from other aircraft & edited there class files to use the new cockpits. But as you see we end up with say a Pe2 cockpit on a Blenheim which is ok but you have to use a lot more imagination than if it were the correct cockpit . There are also many people with correct cockpits ready built in 3d studio max which were rejected by 1c but are perfectly good, in fact imho they are much better than some in the game presently. Ok thats just cockpits but it would completly revolutionise the game if we could add new aircraft / objects!

Some tools have allready been created so that we can actually edit the java code & then recompile it! but unfortunatly the guy who wrote the tools does not know how to create a converter. If anyone would come forward & help this ever increasing community (our site got 4000+ members in 2 months!) it would mean massive things for us all involved with modding for IL2. If needed i have a good understanding of how the game works ect so maybe i could help? (I create most of the Ai aircraft to Flyable aircraft mods).

this sounds corny but please someone make our modding dreams come true

OK Heres MY RANT, Ive asked for help from this CLOWN, On doing the AVENGER properly. He never responded. EXCEPT to LOCk my thread ON AAA and to IGNORE my PM asking for ANY help. BUt i see its QUITE OK for this pinhead to ask for help and AMAZINGLY enough HE GETS IT.... this IS SUCH BS....

Yeah, unfortunately its their sand box and they control who gets in and who doesn't. Thats ok though, we will find a way.
