Okay guys, I did this simply to see if it could be done. This link goes to a ONE MEG animated gif movie, made with Java Guncam and Animation Shop from footage captured while playing E:RT. I didn't post it directly here because

1) I have image leeching set on all my domains

2) It a freaking ONE MEG gif! crazy:

I'll make another one later with some decent footage. I had to add the "damage" to the film by hand, one frame at a time, because I had to shrink the images down from 800x800 to 200x200 and the auto-aging that the guncam put on the images disappeared after resizing.

Nice - I wonder how hard it would be to do (and how large it would be) as a Flash movie?

Well, the guncam's output is sequential jpegs, so probably wouldn't be too hard. It was quicker to do it as an animated gif in Animation Shop, primarily because I haven't used Studio MX or Flash in a long while. Besides, I just wanted to see how it came out hehe:

Frap some video footage + Tweak somehow and bink it to a compression of about 25%.

Got some footage of a ship passing very close to a merchant ship and one of my Escorts through Binoculers if you want to have a gander. Can post up a link if you want it uploaded.

Escort one comes to about 11 Mb's .bik file, Original was at 64 Mb's.

HERE (Mozzilla browser tends to bring it up funny. IE works though)

Or right click save link.

Not had a chance to convert the passing merchant one.

Sappose another way would be to Have footage, the Information as a form of Animation and piece each part together.

I'm new to all this, just dabbling about myself too.
