ROTC cadet Command. Butler University, Indinapolis.. Served 20 years and counting, Retirment Date 29 Jan 09, 21 years service.
youve served in the army for almost as long as ive been alive

ive often thought about serving in my own armed forces after i graduate, at least for a little while anyway, who knows maybe i will.

As you can see, everyone has done their part and served their country in every shape, form and capacity. Just to wear the uniform is an honor in itself. Yesterday in San Jose, Ca., I marched in the Veterans Day Parade in my Winter Weight BDU's and soft cap along with many of those guys I served with in boots as well.

USMC: 84-89. Served primarily as a Communicator as well as a Naval Gunfire Spotter later in my enlistment. Deployed onboard the USS Belleau Wood LHA-3 with Battalion Landing Team 3/1, 11th MAU in January of 1987 from Camp Pendleton for a "WESTPAC".

US Army: 89-2006. Served in three different Mechanized Infantry Companies, the last company being a Bradley unit where I served as the Companies Master Gunner and main instructor for mounted IFV gunnery and crew qualification.

I was up at 6AM getting suited up. I had to drive some distance to just get to a Vet center in order to just get organized and ready to "walk" over to the start of the actual parade. We walked in the parade and then walked back to the vet center to drive back home and then went to my Dojo afterwards. As a result, I crashed out pretty hard last night.

Not that Boys and girls is a SOLDIER, and A MAN.... He has a book on his experiances, and hes running for congressman soon in ohio... Wish i was in ohio id campaign for him... heres a link to his book. i have an autgraphed copy from his site.. he Now works on behalf of veterans rights

he was awarded the Silver Star for that fight and the bronze star with COMBAT "V" Device and an oaklaef cluster during his tour theyre...

Oh and He was an 11-Mike with the first infantry division, THE BIG RED ONE... bosti you got kin who served in that outfit. looks like theyre still harder the ever... HOOOAAH!
