The BSS may become an INDEPENDENT Squad.

I'm not sure if many of you keep up with the forums on the USAAC website or not. In particular the CO/XO forums where most of you do not have access to there seems to be an ongoing attack on one of our pilots. Yesterday there was a post by Inferno for an agenda item request to remove this person use of those forums and to kick him out of the BoD.

I have wrote a PM to the USAAC director to inform him that any further personal attacks upon our pilot with out provocation will result in the BSS become an Independent squad. I do not intend to have any of our pilots to become personal attacks of so called members of the USAAC BoD.

Somewhere, in my personal opinion there is a hidden agenda. Where it lies I am not sure, but the BSS will not become anyone whipping post.

I only read Tides forums. Anything not here isn't for me, hehe. First part of my confusion: I wasn't aware that the BoD even existed much less that we were a part of it. Second part is about fact that someone would target another in the same "group" because of an altercation in an online forum. I mean really, most of the people who are in those forums are older than 18, so why would something said online affect them so much?

The answer is "politics" of the worst kind .. attached to 'secret' agendas .. motivated by vindictive parties.

Joker.. I think you will find that the BoD and Director of the USAAC are NOT happy about the actions taken by Inferno .. or Hawk. You spelled it out in a post over there.. whereas Sky, Kid and Temper sent some PM's to "knock it off". You might want to speak to them via TS etc..

I hope we don't have to go the route of pulling out of USAAC, frankly I don't think it will come to pass like that. I'm sure the 'real' adults in the USAAC are as sick and tired of what they have been seeing as you are...

Bottom Line: Hawk.. which I have no idea why.

Granted.. I'm no perfect Angel .. but I'm certainly not a villain .. and I'm certainly not any reason for any failure of the USAAC as 'those two guys' see it..

To Jonny, Jonny the USAAC is an organization for USA Based squads and independent players. The BoD (Board of Directors) is made up of 2 designated pilots from each squad. Usually this is the C/O and X/O. In our case it is Myself as "First Voice" and Tbar as "Second Voice". When issues come to the BoD to be voted upon the First Voice will vote for our squad, if I cannot attend the meeting then the "Second Voice", Tbar, will vote in my stead. The person who represents the independent people ( People who do not have a squad or want to be part of a squad. ) is the Director of the USAAC. The director at the present time is Skydancer. The USAAC was created to give the USAAC a voice in the way the game of Air Attack is directed. Before the USAAC we had no one representing USA based pilots for anything and we pretty much had to go along with what the UKAAC and TAA did. The USAAC is a place where all USA pilots and voice opinions, bring up recommendations and suggestions for game functions. The USSAC is a young organization and is going through some growing pains, which is expected. Not everything is perfect, but things seldom are in any form of government.

To Tbar, I wrote a PM to Skydancer on Thursday evening. He worte me back and I'll talk to you about it on TS. He pretty much stated what you said here.
