The Wall of Shame ... posting in there

hey.. it must have been a boo boo of some sort.

Temper is a moderator in that area, rightly so.

But ..

It was never intended for folks to come in and "pile it higher and deeper" or otherwise make remarks in that area. It was intended as information and a public notice .. not a posting and replying debate room or anything else.

I think Temper or Hawk or a moderator should mark inappropriate post invisible. Anyone else have a viewpoint on this?

I have monitered the request Tbar and made invisible the 2 posts, one from Hono and other from guest. A Pm was sent to Ho and guest. Tbar,Checkmate and redactuer have been BCC'd. I will put them back if Temp and BoD decide to leave responses in wall of shame area.

I didn't ask for immediate action .. just discussion, however I don't think you did any harm in this case. What we need is input from the BoD

though it best to make invisible and send pm out pending clarifiaction. I believe it is the USAAC BoD intent to have only data posted as you mention, not responses.

I await further instructions from BoD

Temper are you saying stating that the "Wall of Shame" should be hidden from public view? If so I would have to disagree, the purpose or at least my understanding of why we have the WoS is so the general public can see who the trouble makers are. Hence the name WoS.

I do feel that no one should be able to post there other than the Sysops, because I feel that makes a mockery of what we are trying to do.
