What Grinds my Gears

Driving in Ny I get assaulted with this type everyday, many times a day.

Here are some scenarios.

You are stopped at a red light with 5 cars behind you and waiting for the light. Car number 5 believes it his right to squeeze himself on your right side and cut in front of everybody else. I say get a grip and wait in line you punk arse bastya !

You are on a 4 lane Avenue and have to hit your breaks hard as a person in lanes 2,3 and/or 4 cut right across you to turn onto a sidestreet. not only is this illegal its bullcrap! I say get a grip and go around the next corner you punk arse bastya !

You are driving on a 3 lane highway. A car in front of you in the left lane ( suppose to be the faster lane ) sees fit to drive slowly. So instead of beeping the crap out of him with your horn you decide to put your blinker on, switch to the middle lane and try to pass him only to find out that he would like to speed up only enough to block you from getting back in the fast lane then slow down again once you cannot get back into that lane. I say get a grip you punk ars bastya !!

You are driving and the car in front of you decides to stop and let passengers off. And then they take forever to get out! Hello, this is illegal also!!! you are suppose to pull to the side of the road to discharge passengers. And often times there is a spot very close for them to pull into bit NOOOOOOOOOO! Punk Arse Bastya!!

This also applies to drivers who need to stop and talk to friends from their cars blocking traffic! Bastyas!!!

If I was policeman I definitely keep myself busy giving these knuckleheads tickets!!

Oh yeah and stop signs mean STOP! And there is a big white line where you are suppose to stop! It doesnt mean slow down a little and roll through the corner!

We all are getting older and tend to forget, we once were young-guns too....

but they are no tall young drivers. very many taxi cabs. Almost all of them drive like this. And very many selfish thoughtless older drivers also.

Driving in Phoenix, fastest growing city for awhile anyway, was a breeze.

Yea, we had traffic jams and such, but very little cutting off. We did have

lots of yellow light runners and lots of accidents to match!

However, I wouldn't drive in Chicago before 7pm if you paid me!

Even 25 years ago I threatened to take a sponge mop (as the passenger)

and when other cars got too close, I'd poke out the window with my mop!

Obviously the driver of my car vetoed that idea - especially when we were

nearly shot at the toll station for not getting our change around fast enough

to suit someone!

All I can say is that I saw a reasonable driver turn into a maniac when in that

kind of traffic - he got as wild as those around us! We never got in a wreck but

I was a nervous wreck by the time we got where we were going.

I don't know the answer, but it sure needs attention!!
