So we have now got Raidar.com which does seem a nice easy way to cut some of the hassle of organisation down.
However I notice that this has been opened up to everybody who wants to raid, so we have less well kitted people in DV now as appears on Raidar.com. In the main I see this as a good thing for the majority and for people who are kitting up to join raids more easily.
I will soon be able to commit to more raiding and - this is where the controversy comes in: I do not want to offend anyone here, but probably will, so sorry about that.
I want to be in a successful raid group, when I raid. I do not want to be gimped. DV was set up with well geared people and I would like to be part of a well geared, successful team. This was what DV was originally all about.
Could I suggest that the officers (who have a tough job I know) please communicate their intentions as to the future of the guild a bit more please, because if DV is no longer going to be for well geared people who have already worked hard to pass a high level of gearing then I may as well move on
I would like to see perhaps a team of selected people who have well sorted gear and we know can play well put together to form an elite raiding team. We probably wouldn't get 25 of those, so I would suggest we try to get 15 and we try to finish ZA. And we do badge massacres of Karazhan to improve our gear with heroic badges.
I apologise that I have not been able to help more with kitting up runs, because that forms the elite players of the future (which we want) but work commitments have proved difficult. As from the 23rd July I will be much more free to help out with any organisation the officers may like to give me (eeeeeek). I will also be happy to run/help on kitting up runs now that I have more time.
This is a plea to the officers - please communicate
