Saturday Night League! (SNL)

With no disrespect for anyone., it is my feeling that we have THREE fine communities that host leagues and have all the structure for doing so ..

BBS isn't going to make or break the SNL. To try to hide behind the USCAA being involved or not scenario is just bullox in my eyes.

I am just embarrassed on how caddy this site is compared to the others.

in reading your reply you have in fact lowered yourself even lower than your percieved allegation of TBAR. Even though he has an opinion and does bring an issue to the table he has respectfully posted his comments. You just post up some venom right there m8 then run a disclaimer that you dont want to lower yourself right after you finish letting Tbar have it!

Furthermore you refer to the "site" as being caddy. I believe you mean "catty" which infers spite. Truth be told YOU are bringing the "cattiness" here.

Not nice to make a generalization to all the members of a site as spiteful. I dont think this site is much different from any other site. It is a discussion place of ideas and thoughts which anyone is free to do and Im sure is the way the other community sites are run also. Tbar has done just that.

As far as I know, the USAAC, its members have not brought up this event for discusssion so the USAAC has no stance on that as of right now.

Your concerns of SNL not being sanctioned by one of the communities should be brought up at a USAAC meeting. Perhaps it needs to be discussed quickly amongst your peers. I suggest doing so quickly.

USHA still has not a final answer of yes or no for SNL. We are still trying to come up with a head count for the Saturday night event.

Tbar's post was meant to slam Sal and Madman and the SNL. If he has an issue, PM them or like you said, bring it up at aboard meeting. No reason to post that in the public forum. The way I see it, it was an underhanded way to discredit and sabotage the SNL. his isn't the 1st time Tbar has used this forum to do such things.

So it is ok for some to post their opinion but not others. Another joke, sir.

There have been several more issues and bad posts here with people getting on to one another than at the others in my opinion. If I can't state that, then I will just once again not make any effort to offer my thoughts or ideas here.

Vipor you are very immature and out of control. If in fact it is your opinon that TBAR is trying to impact SNL negatively and undermine the efforts of SAL and Madman then you should have posted that and only that. You should leave off the negative comments in reply to Tbars original post. So now your original concern of TBAR doing something shady towards Sal and MAd is going to be undermined by your foul language and abusive comments.

And when you say we can all go "hoohoo ourselves", are you referring to only posters of this thread, the US community, the USAAC site, all three communities,all of AA or just those who dont appreciate your demeanor and language?

Seriously, go back and read my post again. If your upset that I'm slamming Sal or Madd.. understand that I am not. Not at all. SNL coming up.. and the way it did could be any other "group" just trying to get something going. My comments are NOT directed at Sal or Madd as villains or low life characters. I have respect for both as long time AA players and just plain old good guys.

I'm not interested in politics or political "correct" in everything I say or write. If you feel offended .. I apologize for the bad presentation of my thoughts and opinion.... however I will post what ever is on my mind. I will post MY OPINION when I feel an issue or topic is important and merits discussion. I am 100% for .. what is best for the pilots, and the game over the long run.

If we can't have adult discussions here .. then what is the point?

As UK club captain, I support Warships efforts in running SNL. Although Tigers won't be taking part in this, I'm more than happy for any of our members to help out other squads taking part. SNL has never (as far as I know) been an official run event but I can't see any issues in this. Some other comments on here I don't agree with , but it's not my plce to comment on these

Although I have defended the manner in which you have been replyed to,,

I believe that the SNL under madman is probably and will be one of the most efficient leauges run.

Madman and Sal have the experience and ability to run this leauge with their eyes closed IMO. And I have not come across many in the game that know as much about the games, the rules and all things associated with AA as madman does.

( dam I hate when I hit the wrong key and stuff disapears ! )

You and all others should be well aware that the USAAC and its members are trying to make a difference in the community and to insure the fun, fairness and longevity of this game and also to bind the three communities together.

Although you eloquently penned your statement, I dont support it or agree with it. That frame of thinking can potentialy shove an un-needed wedge between communities and/or squads as was evident already.

And as far as secrecy and anomosities from times past, they all need to be weeded out. I dont accuse you at all of trying anything underhanded at Mad and Sal but rather ask you to reconsider your reasoning. from a neutral viewpoint it can indeed look less than ammicable.

But I do Salute you for stating your opinion here in open forums to be discussed and possibly criticized.

My original post stated that one of the three communities... NOT the USAAC in particular but any of the three. Since it is USA pilot tradition primarily .. the USAAC is the natural pick so to speak.

Obviously Vipor seems to think that I am trying to trash out all the hard work put into the current SNL website etc. I am not .. nor the people involved. These folks of Sal, Madd, Vipor are all game lovers as I am and I'm sure.. they only want what is best for the AA Communities as a whole as well. It was NOT on my mind anything sinister .. or black balling, etc. Every Squad Leader at this time and dates KNOWS I have not spoken to them of any such non sense... nor have I spoken to any pilot of any such "plot" or devious action. I have no agenda here...

What simply started out as a "discussion" .. once again turned into some side tracked "argument" of heated passions. We really need to learn to "communicate" and respect opinions .. without all the ugly side of passions. I do not thing I am guilty of this sin but shall take care with my postings in any event.

I will think on this some more as I said, but my opinion has not thus far been swayed. I simply look at the existence of three communities.. established for a purpose. What is that purpose?

I look at SNL and would like to see that fine event 'sanctioned' like any other event/league that is sponsored by USAAC, UKAAC or GEAAC. It took a long time.. but the Big Three (so to speak) have really worked hard to keep each other informed and work out "procedures" and "process's" .. mostly for the purpose of governing our game and making sure that Leagues and Events run smoothly with all the staff, personnel, etc.. in place .. to do the job for all.

All the above is simply my opinion which I dared to share. Again.. don't get your panties in a wad.. please
