whatever i do on the second sub mission on the german campaign all that seems to happen is after a while my radio man tells me i have lost the convoy even though i can still se whats left of them through the 'scope and on the tactical scope!
Have i got the wrong end of the stick on this one? am i not supposed to sink the american convoy? (me i'm trigger happy!)
Also, the first destroyer mission on the german surface campaign (with the MTB's attacking) i destroy them all but the mission won't end! sometimes there is a signal on the tactical that says it is an MTB but there is nothing ther in the sea! i have ridden all over it and tried to head for the red arcs on the scope but to no avail!
What am i doing wrong?

Yes but what is timed?
As I understand it you have to maintain contact with the merchant fleet in order to report on position etc.
I do all this but like the original poster contact is lost although I can see stuff in the scope.
Last time I played this mission my battery power ran out on me and I had to surface, right beneath a destroyer escort. I was pinned down under it's keel, unable to torpedo it but it did not depth charge me. Sort of a stand off - quite bizzare.
On the PT Boat Mission there are 6 PT Boats. If your not careful, One gets away and you can't catch it.
You must destroy all of them. I ran full speed for the middle of the PT Boats and got them all before any could get away. I took out the farthest ones first and then the closest threat alternating back and forth. They are actually pretty easy to kill ( I used the Deck Gun and fired it myself.) Always keep your small guns on the closest Boat (of course)

Just stay out of the way while you follow the M's.... a couple of LFN Corvettes will arrive and take out the US Corvettes, then the mission is over, however you can surface and take part of the action, just dont do the M's
This is SIMPLY a stake out mission, just as the orders say
