New Years resolution

Since we are now counting 2008 and our little family is growing ever so more confident in its exploits in this world of endless raiding, I thought it would be nice to stop for two minutes and think? so where do I go next?

Im not thinking as a guild here, Asbach and our fine leaders got that end covered, but more as persons or more accurate, as characters. Where do I want to be in 1, 2, 4 or even 6 month?s time? What do I want of my character, and how am I going to get it?

As an example I can say that when I starter in Dark Venom I was far from raid specced. I had a fairly messed up spec leaning on need for solo, raid and whatever I thought I could use at the time. Now four months later I am seriously raid specced, gone from 380 agility to 724, all epics, changed pets to accommodate for raid needs, and is more or less a handsome charming penguin killing machine.

So what now? What can I do to even more be all I can be? What is my new years resolution?

After giving it some thought, I think ill go for the following:

• Pass the 800 agility barrier. That would just be plain wicked. And if do as good as we have done lately, I could even push for the 1000 agility barrier by the end of the year (which is truly sick ).
• Get my Leatherworking skill to 375. It has been at 361 for quite a while now, and it?s about time I get somewhere on that.
• Get my epic flying mount. This is the part I get all dreamy since my financial situation is less that great, but the plan is to get my lvl 63 alt to 70 and make her my little money making sugar mamma.

So there you have it. My own three step program. So what is your new year?s resolution? Where are you going or how are you going to get there?

Uncanny, only yesterday I was thinking of re-starting the old FI-topic "My character's goals".

#1 I'd like to warstomp on Magy's still warm corpse...

As for more material things, Bux's only major upgrade from current raid drops is T4 legs. Wouldn't mind the staff off Illhoof either, but since it hasn't dropped for him in however many months running Kara, maybe he'll grind out honour for the S1 Gladiator Maul instead.

There are a few items (neck, chest, boots, cloak) that can get upgrades from badges (132 badges to go...) and which will necessitate some re-gemming/re-enchanting to remain uncrittable.

Corbetti is a whisker off 70 but for him the real goal is a Flying Machine. And maybe a L70 crab (its a personality thing!)

i've just got one big wish. to get my pally lvld and geared up for tanking some badass bosses =)

people usually say that pallytanks are only good for OT, that they don't do well as tank for 25man instances. i've read some discussions already and i'm willing to take up the challenge of proving it can be done. for that i will have to put some effort into heroics and karazhan and i will probably have to give up kintoll from DV but the way i see it we can use an extra tank in DV with only asbach, buxton and koren to fullfill that imortant role atm (correct me if i'm wrong).

buuuut if it doesn't get to that i just hope i can just keep on having fun and progress in the game ^^
