I have a HUGE problem

Well I was told by my sister that yesterday while I was watching TV in my room that my dad got angry at his phone for some reason. The bad thing is that at the time he was on the computer... In his rage he decided to throw his phone (you know, to relieve the stress....) and he hit the corner of the laptop's LCD screen. Now today I come down to check it out and now when i turn on the computer i see this line going from the bottom corner about 3 inches from the right to about 4 inches off the bottom on the right. So now all i see there is black from the cracks and only white below the line. Ok so the problem is that now there r little white lines going across the screen mostly concentrated at the bottom, something i can deal with. But the big problem is that white corner. It sits right where the clock is, the bottom of the scroll thing, and in-game where the radar would be. Now I cant look on radar to quickly see where bandits are incoming from and I also have a blindspot where I cant see any planes coming at me from 2-3 oclock low. What sucks on top of that is that through close examination i can tell he didnt hit the screen. He hit the frame just below it and it caused that huge crack. So what im trying to say is, I am at a big disadvantage now so my SA will be lower than usual meaning more surprise attacks on me and endangering my wingman.

Hey Jonny,

That does sound bad, but there may be a simple solution. Try rebooting a couple of times and see what happens. Try taking the battey out ou the pc and disconnect all power for a few minutes and see if it will reset. If you have a CRT or A LCD monitor laying around, sometimes you can connect them to lap tops and have a second monitor.

Other than that its probably going to have to go to a repair shop.

Its actually a crack so restart won't do anything. I will look to see if i can find a monitor laying around the house if i havent thrown it out.
