BlackWolf,

1. you need much more practice and flying hours to aim better

2. If you can get a stick it's better, more accurate and easier to aim than keyboard ( i myself still using keyboard till now only cause of some difficulites getting one shipping to my country, but i wish i have one)

3. stick with spitfire for now, over all good plane for a beginner.

4. when u aim at a plane there is some rules, only start shooting at 2200 distance range or LESS only no more, all planes have different shooting ranges but that's average for all planes.

5. don't shoot too early

6. the more close ur to the target plane the more u put ur gun cross closer to it/or over it..

7. when you shoot at a turning plane like 1500 ft distance from you, DO NOT put ur gun cross (+) over it, aim ur gun cross on front of it! like 10 feets ahead for example and this distance change depends on the distance between YOU and the TARGET plane. but it need alot of practice to estimate the relationship between the range and distance to get the correct value on where to aim.

8. when you are going head 2 head with a straight coming plane, when it's far away put ur gun cross a bit over it, the more it come closer to u the more u lower ur gun cross above it exactly.

Bullets need time and force to travel and are affected by earth gravity too..after a while they will change their path, you should consider all that.

and i'm ready and will be glad to give u lessons if u like anytime, just ask.. :)

Image just stay on my 6 youll be fine ImageImage

Just like anything else practice is the best way to get good. Always try to wing up with an experianced pilot weather they are from BSS or not. Most guys in the game a pretty good with that, alot of times when I first started I would just show up around good pilots watch what they did and said nothing.

I know everyone pushes the spit but I believe the Yak is one of the best planes to learn in with out a doubt it turns & loops best, it does not have great guns or arrmor when you get shot down enough it will teach you to stay alive and learn situational awarness which is the biggest part of staying alive. Knowing what you are going to do next is just as important as shoot someone down.

2cents keep the change

May be discouraging but it may just be me(most likely me): I got about a year of flight time and i still cant get the aim right in some planes lol.

When you fire at a plane shoot where you think the plane will be when ur bullets get there. Its what I was taught playing Fighter Ace but maybe i should change my tactics Image . Sorta like in the movies when they show a guy firing machine guns and the tracer looks like it archs towards the moving target, when the target is really running into it. I think its a lot easier to shoot if you have huntin' experiance.

P.S.

Jonny gets in trouble, don't listen to him 😵
