International 2 Squad Matches Coming Soon!

Hello Sheepies

Just want to keep everyone informed about some new things getting ready to start.

Very soon we will be going into the 2 squad matches. This is a international competition. Our first match is tentively scheduled against TERROR. This will not be and easy match for us. Now is the time we need to start with some serious practice.

As you should all know by now we have a TEAM PRACTICE every Sunday at 1:00 PM Washington DC time. Our practices from here on out will be of a very serious nature. Its time for us to mature and become competitive. We also have wing practitces during the week. Euro Wing pracitces on Wedensdays, Zarn is the practice leaders for the Euro wing at this time. USA pracitces on Thursdays starting at 7:30 EST. Our Sunday team practice is the main focus as it should be the best possible practice session for our squad.

ALSO, I have had some conversations with our C/O Tbar, and at this time we do not believe that the squad is heading in the right direction. We need more participation from our members. We will be institutuing MANDATORY ATTENDANCE to at least one practice session a month to be active in our competition team. This does not mean you will lose your squad membership, you just will not be able to compete in team competitions with the competition team. IF you want to fly with the Sheep you have to show some serious interest.

I've stated in the past on some of our forums that I do not care how good or bad you are as a pilot. It's the people who show and interest and a little heart that get the job done. These are the people we need to build the competition team.

I know the situations that some of you are in, or having or vacations and such. Please understand that this does not pertain to you. If you keep the team informed as to why you can't practice with us at least once a month we will see what we can do to accommodate you. Just make sure you post to us in the forums or send and e-mail to Tbar, Zarn or myself.

Also, I'm planning to have once month or more, friendly's with other squads. This is a way that we can judge our performance, and it also gives us someone other than ourselves to pick on.

In addition, EVERYONE should know by know that it is your responsibility to read the forums at least once a week. I try to send out e-mails but sometimes it's just a little easier to post in the forums. So keep and eye out there for important team activities.

Well Said Joker .. well said.

We should all read this post again .. and be more supportive. Yes, we have real lives and RL situations .. Joker experss's well that we understand that .. but you must at least once a week make your presence knows (baring vacations and the such).

We got 2 squad coming up .. we really need to start performing now. We don't need to win .. we need to have fun .. and a full pilot roster.
