Should We Invite Him In To Our Squad.

Hello BSS Pilots,

As some of you might have read on the USSAC forums by now Nitro is taking a break from TS squad. From what I have seen Nitro is a pretty darn good pilot. I was thinking that maybe we should ask him to join us for a while, to give him a home and maybe learn some stuff from him and maybe find out how TS works, or should we just let him fly by himself for a while.

I kinda in a quandary about this because, I have also heard a few things from others who say that he is kind of a loose cannon.

I would like to say yes to asking him to join us, but then again I do not think we need any trouble makers either. Now to be fair, I do not know Nitro as well as some others in our squad. I'd like to get your opinion on this matter, and maybe get a yes or no vote to give him a invitation to join us.

Also keep in mind I'm not wanting to step on anyones toes here in BSS. So if I'm out of line with my thinking please let me know.

Of course I'm looking to our active mature members for this, SO, Saj, Zarn, Tbar, Air Boss, Strife, Picken you are the guys I'm really looking to hear from.

Thanks

JoKeR!

The answer is no.. IMHO.

If he wanted to join .. he would ask. He knows us.. knows we are friendly .. etc.

I've also head a lot of negative things about Nitro .. but I've never seen anything bad from that guy. He does work for USAAC and does it well. I talk to him in TS and he's a lot of fun .. not a problem with me .. I like that guy.

They say he's weird .. well arn't we all at times.

I say no... to inviting him .. but I don't think I would vote NO if he ASKED to join. I like having rookies that have as much say so as "older" pilots. I'm not sure what change would happen here at BSS with an experienced pilot from another squad at this time. I sure like our chemistry. . .

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW is that Nitro used to be a member of Insane Clowns .. better than current TS squad! What you don't know .. is AirBoss was a member of the Insane Clowns also .. and AirBoss and Nitro know each other .. ...

So .. lets just sit back and see what happens. Personally I feel that there is a good chance that Nitro and TS might kiss and make up. He's been with them for a long time.

Everything that JoKeR says is true .. he could teach us a lot, and we would have a very good pilot watching our back.

Given the way things are right now .. I think we should just wait and see if he approaches us .. If he does ask one of you guys, you should let him know he would probably be let in.... because ... we are all 'Black Sheep'.

hi guys still alive and squirming.

I'm not going to be up so either way things wont effect me but I'm still having my say!!!!!

IMO ask him if he wants to fly with us for a while, explain he wont win anything with us but that he can get back to some no strings plain old fun at the ground level, perhapse another pilot of Boss's ability (no offence Tbar cos your a great pilot) would have boss flying more? Hell were short on numbers and like everyone says can learn alot from him. I say offer him an open ended invite, what I see of him he is funny as hell and knows his stuff, IMO the negative feedback he gets is because HE knows he is good and likes to flaunt it.......but hell why not?

Personally I like the guy never had a problem with him. So if it wasd up to me I would mail him saying:

Inlight of your current squadlessness us here at BSS would like to offer you this once in a lifetime opertunity to fly with the next generation of AA. you know most of us are fairly new, and you know you wouldn't be coming to a squad top of the pile, however if you want to put your feet up and just plain have a laugh without the stress and presure of the "big" squads there's an empty cocpit with your name on it here (just scrubing Airboss's name off the side) I/understand it would do your street cred little however the offers there. You could join us full/part time as even if your not interested in coming to us (which we fully understand) we would be interested in having you at one of our training sesions as were sure there is alot you can teach us.

lost now heads just gone walkies so I'll stop but personally id do something like that if it makes any sence.

cheers Guys.

Hey, I like what Picken Said too. EXCEPT, since Picken isn't going to be using his plane for a little while. Maybe we could use his instead of Air Boss'es. It might get a few more holes in it, because I'm getting better day by day, ummmm scratch that make, that year by year, and Nitro is one of my favorite targets. (I have proof since I have many pictures of him in my rear view with guns blazing at me.) lol

Just kidding Picken, I know you'll be up and flying with us soon enough!!!!
