Hello all,

I have noticed a few of you have not been checking the forums lately this may be down to lack of time, so i was wondering if any of you would appreciate it if I sent you a email which summarised everything that had beed said in the forums and the squads latest news so if you do not have time to check the forums you just check the email to see if there is anything of importance and if there is you can check the forums for more information and if there is not anything of importance it will save you 5 or so minutes. This idea is not inteded to stop you from reading the forums or as an alternative to reading the forums, it is intended so if you do not have time during the week to log-in to the forums and check them,you can read the email while your checking all your other email which will be more conviniant for you. This idea may make you more inclinded to read the forums because you will know the new information which is in the forums.

If people agree on this idea I will personally write the emails and reqular intervals,they will contain sub-headings dividing up the more important and essential stuff from the general squad happenings which may not effect you and also their will be a section about future matches/training sessions that are scheduled, although you will recieve an email of matches/training sessions coming up in the next few days just to remind you. The email would not require a reply unless stated otherwise.

All feedback would be appreciated as well as any poll votes,your views are needed to decide weither this will happen.

You can't win on this.Kuo's for the effort. I would be greatly surprized if you get positive feedback or feedback at all.

The thing about Air Attack is that it's attraction is: "just jump in and do it when you have time. Quick and fun".

Real life keeps everyone busy and things come up etc. Its not unusual for a pilot to be missing for a month ... or not check the forums .. or not even read emails. What is important is that the pilot know where stuff is .. and know they are always welcome.

If you send to much email .. then folks don't read it carefully .. or at all. What if there is really nothng to report?

If you post too much on the forums .. then folks get intimidated, or you can't find what you are looking for.

Team Speak is the key, as well as IM's .. if you see them about you can always shout "hey.. hello!"

yer im with Tbar on this, most emails i glance through due to lack of time. I check forums daily so dont need it myself, its when i get bogged down the reminders tha we get at the moment i think are perfect if it aint broke dont fix it. the emails for new pilots and match reminders is all i need, everything else is just the little extras.

Thank you for the input guys, no offence taken was just putting ideas forward to try and help guys out put if it isnt gonna help ill scrap that idea.

As the poll answers are a split decision, I am shortly going to close this thread as there where was nothing that stuck out on what was wanted to happen regarding this issue. I think s a great idea but I also agree with T-bar and Picken that you may not get much response. I for one check the forums before I fly in AA to see if anything is new. I love this game and its been a lot of fun. I'd love to see more people from BSS and Tow participate. I waited around on Sunday 1 pm practice to look for people to practice with, but what I ended up doing was going into FFA getting my butt shot off. T-Bar has been a great help in teaching me some stuff and I look forward to flying with him more.

Still it was fun and I'm getting a little better everyday. By the end of the night on Saturday I had 33 Kills in the FFA rookies room and recieved some really good training from GUIDE_Wizard. T-Bar has been a great help in teaching me some stuff and I look forward to flying with him more. I know he's really busy working on all the sites and this message is getting really long so I'll quit while I'm ahead.

mike I'm going to be on around the 6.30 GMT mark all this week, this goes for any1 (even you Saj if you can get out of bed this time) will fire my TS up when I'm about dont expect much talking though the Wife will kill me if I wake the little un up! Looking forward to touching wings with you Mike shame I cant make 4 squad tonight as I'm sure you'll be there. Where is every1 else? havent seen alot of the guys around here for ages

Yeah i am flying again now as i have less work do to if you can try attending the scheduled training sessions they are a great help to us all.

Im probably going t oleave this idea for a while while we get other squad issues sorted then maybe try again ad see if there are any more inputs,thanks everyone.
