How To Make Those Fancy Messages!

Ever wonder how certain folks can make those fancy messages with Stars, Circle Stars, Big Pluse, and Circle Stop Sign?

Well you can customize the messages you send to:

Enemy

Friend

All

Look in your AA folder. c:\Program Files\Air Attack\

You will find three files of interest here: ToEnemy.txt, toFriend.txt and ToAll.txt

The ToAll.txt is the file we will work with right now, you can do the other three if you like on your own, but I see no reason to change them :")

Make a backup copy of ToAll.txt and rename it to ToAll_backup.txt and save it.

Copy the follow characters to note pad and save that file as character.txt

Now note the following characters are what produce the Big Plus, Circle Star, Circle Stop, and the Big Star

Copy the following lines into the ToAll.txt file adding each line separately at the end of the file. You should be able to copy/paste the whole block, but be sure to check that each line is on a line by itself.

Now save the new file and try it out. You don't have to log in to any site to test this, simply start a local practice session. When the game loads use ALT+Enter and a list of options to send 'to all' will be displayed. Simply key in the number of the line you want to send and hit enter. I find that its best not to use the num pad, and better to use the numbers above the letters on your keyboard.

You can change any of the messages, put them in any order. The only rule you have to follow is no more than 3- characters per line. You can have many more individual lines then you would ever need.

Next time you have the game running press F1 .. look under "communications"
