Although I still think the graphics in ERT are a little better.
As someone coming fairly new to the 'principles/practice' of this era it's a great insight. Highly recommended 8)
It's a shame that you can not get the escorts to behave like that in ERT
You could sort of jammy-e by using the various 'wait' and 'attack' commands (again dependant on rank). But with the current interface it would be overly fiddly. East has added 'group select' to the requested feature list.
To fully achieve some of the co-ordinated moves on the BBC thing we'd need to be able to specify formations. (Would be easier in MP I suspect with some co-operative team mates).
Formation tactics for AI is on the list as well as formation commands available to the player via group select are as well.
