Event Results: A team Wins! This week is pure fun! A clash of biplanes from the Eastern Front. Simple map and dogfighting is the only objective. 90 minutes of flying where racking up kills is all that required. Two 40 minute sessions will be held and the sides will switch after the first round.

Union Jak [vbf-12] * 2nd half
While it may seem that the teams were 'out of balance' things did work out. Most importantly everyone seemed to be having a good time once again
Several Registered members arrived late with prior notice so kick off didn't start till 9:25PM. The event started very well, but before the end of the first half SNATF experienced a 'snafu' in the FBD coding but that was quickly worked out in some fashion by ToW Staff.
The A Team started the first round as RED-Allies , and I think lost the first round to the B Team Blue-Axis. Second round went to the A Team as Blue Axis as they completed the mission objectives of downing all enemy aircraft prior to the end expiration time. However Tides Spies did point out the Red Team was heavily out numbered at this point!
I may have to come back to this report and amend it slightly as I'm sure there is going to be some rebuttals as to which Team actually won the match, but I can safely say they all left the battle field as hero's ..
Not all post battle reports are in as yet, but it looks like information presented is close enough to say that the A Team won the day. Congrats A Team! (I hope)
Bi-planes where a hoot! The aircraft moved along much faster than I originally thought .. deadly little buggers too!
Please post you screenies and comments .. we want all your feedback!
Things SNATF Staff will address and correct .. ie what we learned this round!
1) FBD coding is still giving us some problems, but not as many .. experienced help wanted!
2) Staff put into FBD the event start time, scramble message to pilots, time left in round, Red kills stats, Blue kill stats at half end, message when 2nd half would start ( 5 minutes), etc. This addition broadcasts this message automatically and on time .. nice edition .. however, STAFF either made an error in the FBD code again or some other unknown factor caused the match to quite prematurely in the first round.. or was it really because objectives were reached.? Time to read thru logs
3) Getting started late every week is not a situation we want to continue. Brief and pre-flight is scheduled for 9PM, Scramble message will commence at 9:20 and hopefully we will get that to 9:15 when all the 'kinks' are worked out.
4) With Tow Staff standing by, late arrivals can be worked in smoothly. It might be a case where they would have to wait for the second round, but I'm sure we can work this out. So if your are late .. so be it .. just come on in.
5) Team Balance - ToW Staff does not really know the various pilot skills. Staff tries to keep pilots together by squad best we can, we feel that makes for a more realistic 'familiarity' between pilots who are used to working together as a team and thus the 'real feeling' might just kick in. Of course this process may lead to team imbalance at times .. oh well .. its WAR boys .. and ya never know what the enemy will put in the sky that day .. real ACES .. or Rookies!
Remember: ... Next Week .. same time .. same channel .. same fun!
