I was merly surfing looking for "historics" and ran accross pacif-fighter.org and vc-81.net. On one of those sites I saw ref to SNATF. I fly PF now and then and was wondering if a person who does not belong to a group or squad can participate. I think I would like to move to the next level of online dog fights with other players.
Will check back , also looking for more info.

SNATF will soon be hosted on tidesofwar. You may have already seen the new forums set up for it. It is played with the full merged verison of IL2FB so, as an PF pilot you will need to become fully 'spammed' with the merged version and all patches to 4.04m.
Details here:
SNATF is an open game played on Saturday evenings at 21:00 EST. They do accept pilots arriving on the day but ask that those intending to fly sign up first. Each game is a different senario and the senario is briefed in the SNATF forums and website prior to the mission. A few more details need to be ironed out in the transfer of the game to tidesofwar.net but that is basically it.
If you are interested in historical flying you may like to get in touch with MCVG-2, another IL2 FB and PF Marine Carrier Air Group. See their website here

Yes your more than welcome. We have many "solo" pilots show up. Some from squads, some not. Teams are evened out before we start and every attempt is made to keep squads together so, in this case, the "solo" pilots are welcome because they help even out the sides. Hope to see you saturday!
Oh, one more thing..you mention you fly PF and that's fine, but you have to have the full merged install to join the server (IL2FB + AEP + PF).
