How to Patch Enigma: Rising Tide

First you need to Identify your Version of Enigma: Rising Tide.

The most obvious way of doing so is by your Location, for instance if you live in Australia, then you most likely have the Australian Retail, or If you are from Spain then you most likely have the Spainish Retail, If youre from North America... etc

You can also see it when you Start E:RT, in the upper left corner there is a version number, (201 for UK/Europe, 214 for North America... etc.

Once you have determined your Version number then proceed to Tides of War's Downloads and locate the appropriate file, click the link and save it to your Harddisk.

While your download is in progress, backup your Game Profile, it is located in C:\Program Files\..\Enigma..\Your_Player_Name. simply copy that folder to a new location somewhere on your Computer.

If your current installation of E:RT has been patched previously, you will need to uninstall E:RT, reboot, reinstall E:RT and reboot, before you can apply the Gold Patch.

After the download is complete, extract the *.zip file to a temp location on your Harddisk, do not use the built'in unzip function in Windows, but use WinRAR 3.x or the latest version WinZIP, otherwise the patch file may not be extracted properly

Reinstall E:RT as mentioned above if needed, then run EPatch.exe from the folder where you extracted the Gold Patch to.

If you have patched your version of E:RT to Gold 3.0.0 you will need the MiniPatch 3.0.0 to 3.0.1 in order to be able to Play/Create Custom Missions, the MiniPatch can also be found on Tides of War's Downloads (The only Gold Patch that is already using 3.0.1 Is the American Gold Patch!)

Move your Profile Folder back to C:\Program Files\..\Enigma..\Your_Player_Name once youre done patching.

--Enjoy
