K, as there is no 'officer forum' or anywhere to post this except in public forum - apologies but not much choice.....

I am VERY concerned about the guild - there is a pattern emerging of ppl getting to 60, working on their gear n talents n skills.. and then nothing....there is no realistic prospect of endgame action atm and some of th 60's are noticeable by their absence...cos there's not a lot for em to do

I have found something to keep me busy - rep grinding with Cenarion Circle n killing th templars with Wig but even that is mebbe going to fall apart when it gets to the point where a raid grp is needed to take out the stage 3 bosses....

as things stand - we cant even get a grp together 99% of the time to do anything....

I have/do/will help guilders - but I dont wanna spend all my gametime helping others get to 60 - ppl like DT and Peet (our highest priests) need to be doing BRD-upwards now - and pref within the guild - and I WILL happily help (especially if given notice - so I'm not at the ass-end of silithus with my HS set at Cen hold) - also Grim so we have another tank-spec - but its all chaos and apathy n too hard to get ppl grping and training and doing th instances/improving their gear/skills etc

I dont know if a lot of ppl are just not that interested in guild grps/endgame content - I do know that if this continues ppl who are more 'dedicated' will just get peed off n leave - some of my ingame friends have left already - gone to a diff server allie-side where th prospect of endgame is realistic - and I have 3 diff grps of ppl asking me to leave Thunderhorn n go join em

I am mostly happy here - there are quite a few ppl in guild I think of as friends and I am not yet totally pessimistic about the way things are going.

I do think inviting more and more lowbies isnt the answer - the ppl already here need to bond more and do more stuff together and help each other out more - or it'll be a guild full of casual players who never really get anything done - and tbh, that aint what I need.

I'm not having a go at anyone by writing this - the whole point is that I DO care about the guild and really want it to work - or else i'd have just buggered off :) ppl keep trying for a bit to get grps together etc but when faced with the hopelessness of it all they give up after a while.

There are some great players and great people in this guild - but the apathy is causing major problems.

Plenty of ppl still haven't been near the forum - the calendar is chaotic and a waste of time atm - pls, pls, pls - does anyone have any ideas how to help whip us into shape a bit more?

The only thing I can think of left to try atm is much-hated DKP system - could give 1 point for every raid grp attended from BRD upwards - only to be 'spent' in MC - but I dunno - even posting about grps on the forum may help? and enforcing th join/use forum thing? I dont want this turned into a flame/whine match - it isnt - its a desperate plea for help! lol

i shure would like more guildraids to bond and get our gear together.

Did want that since Bratac is 60 (ages ago).

The point is that we have lack of disipline and lack of healers.

With Bratac i have been trying to get my Epic helm quest done for 9 times or so.'

I still don't have the damn thing and to be honest can't be bothered anymore because i can't get the right setup for the 10th attempt.

Point is that it is one of the reasons i started a priest and left Bratac to roth.

That even some 60's never saw the forum isn't helping the raiding much.

When we set a date they just doint see it and don't come.

Other item is the time.

The topic that Turthalion started is a good one.....show availlibity of players.

I had a lot of invites for UBRS at late hours that i couldn't join because of time

I know more ppl have that same problem...so the topic from Turthalion is a good one.

We also need to try ZG going. Set a date, inform FI and HC and take a shot maybe filling the holes with random players till we have enough of our own. BUT JUST GO

For my case: I want Horrible to 60 and use him for raids.

Can use Bratac for now, but not in the long run

I totally agree tiz... Take me and deathing, we have been trying to go to sunken temple for exp for four days now and no luck getting a group at all, it started to annoy us to a point where we think 'why bother' Even tho im not at 60 yet i soon will be and when i get there i wanna be able to get a group together from the guild since pugs are getting more outrageous day by day...

I think something should be implimented in order for people to turn up for events, i mean i put a date in the calender and noone turns up... i understand that people have real life things to do and so on but im so close to 60 now and without doing instances it will be tough..

Just my two cents

Ok,

I agree with the above.....Simple

Calender: DA and da...it worked and was useable as this...let's keep it

Training: Class training

Turth, tizzi, bratac etc.....the originals could hold class training sessions to help us low and mid or even high levels learn what to do

One day a week all level 60's help the low levels to do things.....A MUST

Work as a team: Let's have a warrior, mage, Priest,Shaman and other to work together...all levels but esp 60's...do strat and scholo or ST at least twice a week at a decent hour.....

Speak: We use guild chat to help each other but when people offer freebies sometimes no one notices...Say NTY for No Thank You or YP for Yes Please

Update player notes: Who is axesmith, engineer, Elemental Leatherworker, Alchemist etc.

Macros....Use macros for grats because we like getting Gratz'd and so do others.

Welcome....Say hello to peeps when they join...It's polite and we will build better relations..

Stay happy and HELP each other with Knowledge...

Hope this is clear.

Love ya all

FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well you know i agree with you Tizz.

One problem i've seen in the past few weeks is timing, as Rotten has pointed at already a bit. The past few weeks i've seen countless times of people trying to get a group for something. When that doesn't work out they log off and what do you know, 15 minutes later the next one comes on looking for a group too, sometimes even to the same instance.

That way it's never going to work before we have 100 lvl 60's.

I would propose that we set fixed days and more important times that everyone that feels like doing an instance loggs on. Feral instinct have a guild evening every monday and that works out very well for them. They have less people then us 😵 so that should work for us even better.

I would even like to take it a step further. We should discuss here on this forum each day that is a planned guild day what we're gonna do. People need to sign for it here and if you don't, then you can't go. So if you come online and you see a raid being formed for say UBRS and you haven't signed in on these forums then you you won't be invited. No mather what. That is a bit hard but might be needed as we seem to lack the discipline at the moment.

I do disagree with some thing Deathstare mentioned though.
Calender: DA and da...it worked and was useable as this...let's keep it
First, DA/da didn't work either. Second, Tidescal is a channel set up with our alliances and thats the way it should be. Third, the calendar isn't working because people don't use it (enough). And people don't live up to the appointments they made. I even had a few times of a group planned in calendar and the one starting it wasn't even online!.
Training: Class training
Turth, tizzi, bratac etc.....the originals could hold class training sessions to help us low and mid or even high levels learn what to do.
Well id want to give tips about how i play my class to others, but the problem is that it's my playstyle and everyone has his own. There is no 'right' way to play. It depends on your skill, talents, gear etc how you play your char. You have to figure out what is yours. You do that by trying things, reading about it and offcourse you can always ask someone what he/she thinks.
One day a week all level 60's help the low levels to do things.....A MUST
This i won't do. I'm willing to help every now and then but not on a regular basis and not as a MUST. I think it is of no use either. You don't learn anything from it as a lowbie. You just get nice drops real fast. I know that is nice, but teaming up with your own level range characters really is far better. You get a chance of learning things. To be honest i hate it when a level 30 character asks me if i can help with that nasty level 32 elite mob he needs for his quest. If you can't kill it you're not ready for it. You should wait a few levels then. Or get a group of people that also have to do it. Have some patience. If you don't get it now, you will get it in a few days.

This game is all about learning to play your class and preparing for the harder instances that lay ahead of you. So do that.

The only exception i sometimes have is people that have an alt. They know what this game is about, have done all the instances by themselves. So running them through an instance gets a bit more sympathy from me, because they only need to level their char fast.
Work as a team: Let's have a warrior, mage, Priest,Shaman and other to work together...all levels but esp 60's...do strat and scholo or ST at least twice a week at a decent hour.....
But then you only know how these 4 others are playing. When getting into Molten Core with 40 people that might be a problem.
Speak: We use guild chat to help each other but when people offer freebies sometimes no one notices...Say NTY for No Thank You or YP for Yes Please
So you want 30 or more NTY's? If i want something i will say so. If i don't, then i don't need it or i missed it, my bad. If you really think the item is usefull send it to the appropiate guildbank who will advertise it on a regular basis, giving even more people the chance to see it.
Macros....Use macros for grats because we like getting Gratz'd and so do others.
Sometimes people are busy and don't notice the ding. And there are times when there's a ding, hello, goodnight every few minutes. You won't get anything done if you respond to all messages. I don't feel at all offended of 'only' 2 people of the 20 online greet me when i say hi. I know the rest is doing something else.
Welcome....Say hello to peeps when they join...It's polite and we will build better relations..
same as above
Love ya all
Love ya too :D

Heya!

Well, as i see it, i haven't got much left to play for. Ofc i help other guildies sometimes and will continue to do so.

But i got almost all blue/epic gear now, nothing special that's a must-have item for me outside of MC/BWL/ZG/AQ. Last few runs i had in Strat/Scholo/DM and the like, there was exactly nothing i could use (either i got that item already or mine was better). I can't even grind for money now since i don't know on what to spend it. Got my epic horsey already. Only thing i could do is pvp, but i don't like it that much really.

Well, the way things are now with the 'active roster' and the list in my MC thread, we couldn't even get the ppl for an UBRS run and i'm not even talking about ZG or MC now :-(

Actually i don't know what i just tried to say but anyway:

Greetz,

ditto - aint that much I NEED personally - hunter bk frm DM, some more suitable shoulders, BUT I do NEED a guild that can go do th tuffer stuff - and lvl 60 healers etc - so trying to get some raids going for loot etc also benefits me in the long run - better equipped and more experiences guilders = easier raids n grps and more likelihood of endgame fun - I also need 5-man grps in blkrock, scholo etc etc but I think all that is more realistic and more doable the more well-equipped and well-trained lvl 60's we have - so am making a small effort to help that happen - and hoping sum1 with a better memory than me will lead us around ;-)

and yeah - I certainly aint no hunter guru - I think I play ok but I dont have th 'ideal' hunter spec and suk big-time at pvp - am always happy to chuck 2c in on classes I know a little bit about but never as a 'play like this' thing - just options or info to offer

Stuff?

The coalition is at present going nowhere fast ? no joint raids/farming have been done ? little/no inter-guild activity or posting and no gearing up/training ? ppl seem to just want to go straight to MC with no groundwork done??

A number of ppl who have been lvl 60 for a long time now ? have reduced their playtime (some to virtually zero) and are finding it hard to muster any enthusiasm/interest in the game or in Death Angels ( self included)

Some ppl think that getting healers to 60 and doing MC will miraculously solve all ? I don?t agree! (farming MC every week is actually quite a pain ? and has broken many guilds/coalitions much stronger than ours)

? a very old gaming attitude from way back in DAoC days (that game lasted years and old guild there is still going strong) =

?the guild that plays together ? stays together?

eg ? a guild and a coalition should be like a family/extended family as much as possible ? with mutual help, shared goals, lots of grouping/events/activity ? these build a sense of friendship/community and loyalty ? and community/friends keeps you logging in even when th game content has become less appealing for awhile

ppl often argue ? ?I pay my money and play how/when I want to? ? sure thing, up to a point ? that point being that wow and similar games depend on guilds/groups/raids ? making ppl inter-dependant ? so if eg 5 players show up half an hour late for a 20-man raid ? they feck up the raid, other ppls playtime and good nature etc and if lvl 60?s decide ? I have all I want/need now ? and refuse to help others anymore ? they are giving nothing back to the ppl/guilds that mebbe helped them GET all they have ;-)

so?.. we lack discipline, guild cohesion, any real aims/plans - ppl are still being promoted regardless of ever having posted on forum or even knowing what th calendar is ? we have atm TWO high lvl 55+ priests active in guild ( and a third on the way) ? and yet still no big push for guild runs/raids ? helping ppl get equipped and the priests to get geared up and healing/dealing with large raids etc

the apathy is going to kill us ? it?s not the bosses in MC we need to worry about ? but the lack of any serious guild activity ? esp for the high lvls who now have very little to look forward to and little reason to keep going.

I have made two previous posts about this on guild forum ? and nothing really has changed ? in fact even more of the lvl 60?s I grpd with/got to know a lil are either absent or just killing time doing things like BG etc

I would LOVE to see some radical changes ? some real discipline introduced ? just something more than th weekly tradition of a new lvl 13 (or whatever) person joining guild and asking to be helped thru WC? or asking for items to be made/enchants to be given etc

Ah balls ? I?ll probably just give up too very very soon ? good luck/have fun etc

ps - tried posting a cupla guild-runs to do on forum / calendar/ ingame after last post - no real interest or sign-ups

Hey ,

Sorry to hear you guys are fed up with the current situation.....would hate to see a good bunch of ppl leave.

I'll be lying if I dont have the same sentiments sometimes when another week has past and I did not have a full 15 man raid (or 5 for that matter )party in my guild....but thats just the facts of RL..It is still a game and a lot of ppl that take the game serious enough to play their char well and end up reaching 60 are adults :).But with adulthood comes work,wife,etc....This must all be taken into account when disatisfied about the game content the guild is offering.

And like RL we cant have it our way all the time ,we often have to take what we can get and be happy with that much ;).

Tizzi got a good quote down when (he) SHE posted :

?the guild that plays together ? stays together?

Its true ,but this fire has to be kindled and nurtured all the time or it dies out fast.Wich means there are always gonna be ppl that will lead or take the initiative ...so if not pleased about the current situation take the initiative ingame !!.As you all stated earlier its always the same people that read the forums on a regular basis a lot of people dont have the interest or drive to do so ,.....so Ingame is where we need the initiative ,where the action and the players are.

I'll make it a priority on my behalf to search for the opportunities when we can join forces.I usualy notice a minimum of 15 Angels online with a regular 1-3 60's.Our guild is off course a lot smaller but we also have a regular and a shakey attendence but we do with what we have most of the time ,wich makes quit interesting runs....

We also work on alt progression to make group formation easier for lower levels. They learn more by running with equaly lvl?d players then with a quick 60 run through. But if it is an alt dont hesitate to power level it through an instance with a 60 ;).

Yesterday our BRD run that Asbach started has been run with a Holy Cow (Conk) in it because there wasn't a 5th member online. This should be something we do more often but it takes initiative to do so.Also if we are to do endgame content we need a lot more players to enhance their gear, questlists, keys, etc so their is still plenty to do before hand.

Mind its not my place or intention to lecture or flame I'm just pleading here....,I would hate to see you guys leave (also in self interest ;))....there is still a good game to be played if we ( ..and then I mean we forum post readers) stick together and make things happen with each other ingame.

Koren
