Unfortunately the USA release plans have been plagued by a number of problems and we don't have enough money to release it ourselves here. That leaves us in a tough spot. Try to ride out the bullsh*t or cancel the contract for the US release.

We've got the foul weather gear on, but the bull appears to have diahrea.[/quote']

That will not help the future one bit of E:RT if it doesn't get released in the US..............man this is bad....
I can tell you that our problem with the release is not so much with GMX as it is with the publishing partner they are using.  We also don't work with people who treat us like they are doing us a favor.
I believe that GMX and specifically Mike and Steven have been doing a good job in Europe for us.

As for the USA...time will tell.  We don't give up easy and we don't tolerate BS very well.  Our team deserves the right partner and so do our players.  Thanks for the continuing support and we WILL see you on the water.

East the *quality* of E:RT is first class -i'm normaly a 100% flight sim guy and have been for nearly 8-9 years! Ironicaly i **only** came across E:RT through the crap review on PCZone AND the fact they carried the demo on their CD. I doubt i would have stumbled on this game in a month of sunday's! So in a way 'Good comes out of bad'

I have plugged this over at www.simhq.com (got a few folks interested espec Americans)

http://oldsite.simhq.com/cgi-bin/ultimateb...c;f=20;t=007343

and also provided a UK link to buy it online for European folks there as well.

I like your style East' date=' your 'fresh' and honest and sound like you will support us Single Player only guys (put it this way, if you were talking bull then you would only hurt yourselves in the long run.)

Have you heard of Oleg Maddox, He single handedly built the flight sim 'IL-2 Sturmovik' ?

Well he started out very similar to you guys and *listened* to his fans requests -the result was IL-2 Forgotten Battles released this year and a bloody classic! Now he has more bodies working for him and a **MASSIVE** loyal following of fans.

I will gladly support you if you support me -the fans.

I would personaly rather have an add-on CD than a download. -Operation flashpoint done this very well with the 'Red Hammer' add-on and sold for a reasonable ?9.99[/quote']
Thanks Tracer.  I appreciate the help.  I've been in touch with the Maddox team and am a big fan of Oleg and their fantastic game.
Only time will tell if we mean what we say' date=' but check your gut - and you know.
