Welcome Brothers & Sisters of The Iron Wolves Wolfpack
Many years have gone by since the Great War between the Northland & Westland over the Central Isles. Those were good times with good friends. I have yet to find anything like it since. I could ramble on indefinitely but I'll spare you.
The reason I am perusing this monumental project to reunite the Wolfpack for an online reunion is simple. Iron Wolves is long gone but I don?t believe it was ever really all about the game. What it was really all about was the friendships. Yes we had our ups and downs but we were a family. If I thought that only I held these feelings for the Old Wolfpack I would not bother with this project but I still hear from my good friends that say exactly the same thing.
So if you feel the same, I invite you to add any information you might have on the whereabouts of other members and join us in the Team Speak Chat Reunion (to be scheduled). to catch up on what everyone is up too now. I also invite you to drop by here at Central Isles Forum once in a while to stay in touch.

I know Irp used to be on ICQ once in awhile. Not sure if Robt still at same job in some at University in Indianapolis.
There was a guy in Scotland called Jim, can't recall his IW handle, he was also on ICQ from time to time.
You missed out Pioneer & Tbar on "members you have contact with". Oh, what about Mongoose? Pio I think keeps in touch with him, and another IW buddy in Oz...

How did I forget my Ole Friend Robt. He use to proof read all my Web pages for me and he was like you Damn good in a Vett.
I got one for you Bux,
(forgive my American Ignorance) There was a player from UK. I can't remember his name but he use to own a Pub on the water I remember his picture. he was an older gray haired man in a all white suit (in his picture. I want to say the pub was in Susix or something like that. He lost the Pub when he went through a divorce. I can remember everything except his name!
right now I'm only concentrating on the old wolfpack.
Was irp from the Wolfpack days?
Ahh I just remembered another one. Swabby, I believe he was a Police Officer with a Canine unit in Capitola California. (It's funny the things you remember)

Ummm... I'd post my ICQ friends (IW) list, but I can't see how to export the list under ICQ-Ver 5.

I've just come across your web page. Very well done. Your review of Iron Wolves was in-depth, especially given the fact that you were not a regular of the game. It would have been easy to bash the game if you were expecting IW to be like other sub sim games on the market. IW's attraction lies in the fact that you are pitted against human opponents. Since the beta days, the IW players have developed a real user community complete with an official players group (The WolfPack), scheduled wars, individual player web pages, and even have a get-together scheduled for the Fall of '98. I say you'd be hard pressed to find that level of involvement in any other game. There have been some changes made to IW since your review which make it easier to track opponents (left click and drag on the bridge view) and the addition of islands equipped with Shore Batteries (definite mixed reviews on that!). Plus there is a web page where scores are posted for bragging rights. The user community has been able to work closely with the developers to suggest and make changes for the good of the game. In short, I would encourage you and others to take a look and go for a test drive. I think you'll like what you see!

I noticed you have a Mad Max up there on that list...only Max I remember was Mad Maxx and he passed away while we were all still playing....Still think about him when I think of IW.
