If so' date=' please head over to
EB Games and submit an honest review.

These reviews help us get the game out in the USA.  It hasn't yet released here in the States and we don't have much budget for promotion so ALL the help we can get makes a difference.

I might also suggest that you post player reviews at Amazon.co.uk as there are currently no user reviews there.

Your assistance is really appreciated.

cut and pasted my ebgames one to amazon.co.uk - hope it helps
Im still getting an SQL error
I gave it 5 stars' date=' I think it deserves em[/quote']
I'm in Los Angeles' date=' where I'm playing the demo repeatedly. I think it's a hell of a game. I went to the web and entered a credit card order at the GMX on-line store, but have received no confirmation of my order. I sent a follow-up email this morning, but still have heard nothing...
Does anyone from sales read these posts, or do you perhaps have a direct contact e-mail address?

I certainly appreciate it.[/quote']
@bsalyers click here and then click on "privtae message"
I have replied to your email bsalyers.
Thanks' date=' Steven![/quote']

hi guys.  My first post here.  im playing the demos and i love it
My only problem is that i leave in Brasil (Rio de Janeiro)

Any way i can buy?
Im sure GMXmedia would love to send you a copy' date=' evev youre in brazil.
http://www.gmxmedia.net/store/redeem.cgi?a...re/index2.shtml

click here, and support subsims before you order.

Before you order you should click here http://www.gmxmedia.net/forum/profile.php?...iewprofile&u=15 and send a message to Steven and ask him if GMX ships to brazil.
and I am having all kinds of wonderful fun blowing up american tankers. Im almost sad the allies won the first world war' date=' thats how much fun Im having.
one little niggle-it would have been a good idea to put some kind of time compression into the game so setting up a shot would be less boring. Its not a major thing because battery power and air purity decreases so quickly you cant stay under water long and in general the missions seem to be set up with a fast pace in mind but it would have been a nice touch. other than that this is the best game Ive played in years and Im amazed that I hadnt heard of it before I saw it on the shelf. maybe Im not as in touch with the gaming scene as I like to think or maybe you guys need to hire a new publicist.[/quote']
I havent played a mission where I ran out of air (in the retail release).
Your battery power drains fast when going FLANK/FULL speeds (the faster you go' date=' the faster it drains) and recharge time is VERY LONG!.

Using speeds at 1/3 and you can stay submerged for hours.

I do agree with you that there should be more air than to about ~45 mins

or have snorkels so you dont have to fully surface to recharge/refresh air.[/quote']
I wasnt complaining about the rate of air/battery depletion because I think it adds something to the missions to have those to worry about as well. Although now you mention it a snorkel wouldnt hurt. especially if it let me run my diesels submerged and for game balance gave the opposition more chance of seeing me (because of the smoke exiting the snorkel). Might even be a good idea if it let the sub go faster underwater (because of the diesels having slightly more oomph). Then if you were at snorkel depth it would be halfway between being surfaced (and going full speed but almost guaranteed to be seen) and being fully submerged (and invisible to the naked eye but forced to move at a crawl).
but you have to have some limitations say you can only use the snorkel in:
1 certen wether conditions say calm

2 you have to surface first to set it up

3 less desel fuel i never seem to ues any this would limit attacks by a vessl with snorkel

even as a sub skipper i would say it would be too easy
I certainly didnt mean to look like I was looking for a way to make it easier on subs. subs are already incredibly difficult' date=' I just thought it would be nice to have something that was half way between being submerged and surfaced. I did try to make a few suggestions about the implementation that would mitigate its tactical use. It might be balanced out by my next suggestion-let shells from surface ships damage the sub if it is surfaced but above a certain depth. Im not asking for a complete model of the laws of hydrodynamics but we know that if a sub is close enough to the surface to show a wake then a shell hitting it would be going fast enough to hurt it somewhat. say maybe half the usual amount of damage? A plus is that its damn annoying to be able to see a subs wake and not be able to get at the bugger.[/quote']

Am I Enjoying The Game?...I think it is awesome...I tell ya East...you guys really hit it...the ocean rolling....the waves rolling over the ships....rocking to and fro...the wind ....all awesome...I have really only played a few other naval sims ..mostly because they all seemed either too simmy or just to graphically lame and did not have smooth game play...I honestly just love what you guys have done and will play this game long......after other games have faded...I played Pirates of the Carribean for about a week,Medal of Honor for about 3...have Asherons Call and get bored with the monotinty of it and only reason it is still intresting is I think what you guys will have...people...and content that changes....nothing like sailing the sea either...and your game looks and feels like the sea...I know small technical problems, money problems, server problems etc. are all part of life and business...but I have to tell ya once it does go multiplayer...you are guarenteed at least one faithful player till the game goes offline...or me ..whichever comes first

Good Job Enigma Crew.

I was impressed with the game, but as I've mentioned before my GeForce2 card kept crapping out on me all the time so couldn't really play much. However I'm now a proud (don't know how long for) owner of a Radeon 9800SE (had it two days now) and I'll be installing Enigma again asap :D

After playing as a flecther on another game (I neednt say the name) I liked this FPS kind of ship sim. So I searched for navy sims, but all I could find was sup sims. All sub sims have to offer is sub combat which is fun but its not what I was looking for. So I looked in an electronics store (I dont know if it is ok to say the name) one day and loll and behold there it was one of the most awsome games to be in my possesion this game owns all other navy sims that were made I give enigma a 10/10

btw your version of the flecther was mutch more realistic than that other games flecther. Without enigma ppl who like surface combat with good graphix would be doomed thanks to all who made it

hope the update will own

wave: I am waiting patiantley and with my age allowing all the years of frustrating allowance to drift by but I HAVE TO SAY "WHERE THE HELL IS THE PATCHJ????? TOO LONG East do something ,I dont want to know about all the other stuff Just the patch. A food for thought, a second hand software dealer does not want to know about Enigma he has NOT been able to sell a second hand game of Enigma since October last year,LET ALONE A NEW VERSION. IHAVE PLAYED A LOT OF SIMS and Its a great game and I would love to see it progress but do something about it.You are running out of time.We log on.nothing we log on again nothing, get more personal ,let us know whats really going on so we can settle down to a long wait .before Xmas no way after Xmas no way march maybe.I dont want to see what maybe I want to see why I log on every day of the year and immediatley log out through the dissappointment. If you cant do it say it.

dont fart around with tests make a date and keep it allow yourself a couple of months past you credible date that way you will be a hero. I dont care about the multigamer but I would love to be involved in it if it worked better than what we have. just fix the immmediate problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE THE GAME BUT i am becomming a bit frustrared with the promises be straaight with us and we we will wait we DONTrSIDETRACKS TO MULTIPLAYER WE WANT THE PATCH!!!!!!!!!!!IN RETROPSPECT WE CANT PLAY THE MULTIPLAYER WITHOUT THE PATCH.

Thanks for the post Anto. There are a handful of guys from this site that are currently helping us test the patch. Dreamcatcher began testing the patch yesterday. As soon as Dreamcatcher signs off on it, we can release it. We don't control the release date....but it will probably be next week.

The lawsuit against GMX has created a lot of financial pressure including the loss of 4 programmers in November. Needless to say this impacted getting this thing done. I prefer to never reveal a date unless I know we can hit it or beat it but sometimes there's nothing you can do about it.

Awesome game! I've been waiting for something like this for a long time! I played 'Figthing Steel' for a while, and though a fun game, this is the cat's meow. Love it! I can't wait for the patch as the enhancements sound great. Speaking of a patch, any rough timeframe about it's realease yet??
