Help With Usn Surface 10a

Now I just happened to try these again ,, and on "EASY" ,, and won first time BOTH 10A and 10B ..

I tried a slightly different way ... ordered most freighters Eastwardly .. ( and some other ships and subs to attack of course ) ..

I also headed Easterly myself ,,( After the necessary fast north at first ) and even swung round to South .

I set rendezvous as far as possible . and later ordered some a little more north East , and some more south East .

I didnt fire torpedoes for a while . until sme distance East , and looking carefully at the placement of other vessels , gaps to fire a salvo thru .

I succeded in sinking many .

After victory message , I tried to see what more could be done , altered course more frequently , and even swung round from southeast ,, where I had fired from starboard - eastwards -- turning East again to win distance , thru to North again .. and fired salvos from port . sinking a few more , untl finally a 15" struck .

I might try this on the regular , " Difficult" and see if a fast North , and then East strategy works out .

Yes I think some of it is the luck or chance of how and where all ships are deployed when mission begins , particularly The Hood .

Maybe some variables such as east mentioned recently , such as the maximum depth ability of a sub . ' roll of dice '.

Surviving long enough in this mission seems to be one factor to decide it , as with a few others. 10 B too !

Maybe I had luck with my last wins , I'll have to play a few times more with the strategy I used , and also on ' Difficult ' as well .
