The Sceptre Of The Shifting Sands

I started this quest line purely to aid my efforts to gain the Loremaster title / achievement. Now that Cataclysm is not too far off I have developed a hankering to get this quest line complete. Especially as BWL and MC may be changed for good. In order to do so I do need some help and was wondering if I could persuade a couple of you to help out with the final few quests. I have done a lot of the quests and am currently on the following ones:

Quest 1. The Ony Prescription ~ Need to recover 8 chapters from all over Azeroth. I am missing Chapter 7 and 8. Both are obtainable from BWL and a drop from Ragnoros in Molten Core.

Quest 2. Nefarius' corruption ~ Obtain the RED shard from Nefarian (final boss in BWL)

Quest 3. Nightmare Corruptions ~ Kill the twilight corrupter in Duskwood (need 1 tank, basically the tank kills it for 10+ mins while I stay out of combat then I rush in at the end to kill it off at 2% due to MC effect..tried doing it with 8 (well equipped) x 80's in Feb we wiped too many times to count). The tank tactic is the most effective I have found.

Some of the above and subsequent quests I can do with 1 or 2 80's, however I will need to form a larger group for BWL and Molten Core. BWL will only need one full run (I can pick up Red Shard, Chapter 7 at same time) and one or two part runs for elemetium ore's (I need 10). they drop from Blackwing Technicians. For MC, Im not sure if we can go straight to Ragnoros, but I would say, Kintoll, Aylun and me three "man"ned him this year - I just forgot to loot Raggy for the chapter!! /sigh).

If anyone is not attuned to BWL or MC I'd be happy to help. Alternatively Warlocks can summon inside RAID if you have'nt!

I dont intend to arrange dates / times to run the above. I'd rather just be flexible and see if people online have the time for a run in between the usual daily routines.

....and if you see a PUG forming for MC or BWL send me a whisper!

Quest 3 completed last night, all went to plan. Jukk beat up the Twiglight Corrupter for 10 mins while I watched with my feet up. Just need to do the follow up in Moonglade for the first Sceptre Shard....

Update:

Green shard is now in my position. Thanks one and all for the help. An unusual quest for sure. You dont often fight elite dragons in the middle of Nighthaven with the NPC's going berserk too.... :lol:

Job done, thanks to those that helped out.

I only need 2 Elementium Ore before Wrath of Neptulon for the Blue Shard and then the Sceptre....

Aiming to go into Blackwing Lair tonight (21:10 ST) for the remaining elementium I need. Looking for some "volunteers" :roll: Of course I maybe lucky and find it on the AH.

Attunement for BWL is required. Can do that too if need be. Happy to go all the way to Neferian if people want the achievement.

Afterwards there is a rare opportunity to see and fight Maws. It wont take long to down him but its still a part of vanilla WOW that most players even in the old days never saw.

....and next week Siddeus and me are planning to visit an old world/BC RAID for some fun.
