If you have been using the really popular Mods collection from www.allaircraftarcade.com called Unified Installer 1.1 there is an new version to add to it.

Unified Installer 1.2 should be loaded over UI1.1

It includes the the UI1.1 patch (1.1.1) but also needs its own patch 1.2a

This patch does NOT patch over IL2 4.09m

This patch only works over IL2 4.09b1m+UI1.1

so i am confused. how many versions should one have? so the main playable versions are 4.08m, 4.09 official, 4.09bm UI1.1, 4.09bm UI 1.2. Will the switch run all of these? how many root folder so the game should I have? right now i have a 4.08m and 4.08m-moded that has UI 1.2.

sounds like a fragmented community just got more fragmented with more versions of the same game.

4.10 by TD is now out. apply over a clean 4.09 stock or if u have ultra pack just click on the update option. u will then have 4.09 and 4.10 in your jgsme folder.

I have ultrapack 4.09 but where do I go to click update?

Just to assist others:

The newest update and patch is version 4.10.1 UPS 3.0RC4. Let me assist you in how to get there.

1) Start with clean install of IL2 1946 (this will be version 4.07)

2) go here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=4088 and get the mega patch to 4.10.1m EN (follow directions, pretty easy; must register first)

3) Then, go here: http://ultrapack.il2war.com/page/readme to get the UP 3.0 (again register and follow instructions)

4) One more step then your done: go here: http://ultrapack.il2war.com/index.php/topic,1052.msg43814.html#msg43814 download and install the patch to RC4.

YOU HAVE NOW GOTTEN THE UPDATED VERSION IL2 1946.
