Mr. Burton, X/O Sir.

What is happening with Blue wing. Today I received another report that no one showed up for practice.

We need to get a regular schedule set up so that on Saturday mornings, Blue wing can have some practice.

Please post a schedule were all of you guys can hook up. Please contact Zarn, Maddawg, and the rest of the Blue wing pilots, and if practical the AU/NZ pilots.

If you need info I can probably help out there.

Hi Joker.

I did turn up yesterday for a very short while to see if anyone would show. Not feeling particularly chipper, my own fault admitedly, I gave it 10 mins before giving up. The thing is we have had pretty poor attendance for this practice apart from Burton and me and have discussed moving this to a more UK friendly time 6pm Wed. However there have been requests for Sat mornings to stay because of training for AA pilots (Aus/NZetc). Thing is they rarely attend. I know maddog has moaned on the forum but I've seen him ONCE since he signed up!!

Burton and I put ourselves out to attend at a difficult time slot and I'm not prepared to hang around waiting for pilots who can't be bothered to communicate whether they're turning up or not. I have RL pressures on my time. I always pm X/O if I can't make it.

Happy to continue with this practice if people think its worth it, but feel more important that pilots attend whole squad practice Sundays regularly.

Thoughts?

I agree Zarn, Everyone except for the AU/NZ pilot should be attending our Sunday practices.

Maybe I can get with Dingo and see if he can get a practice going with the boys from down under.

If you think it would help to have Blue wing practice at a different time, that would be ok with me.

Let me know what you guys want to do, but for the next few weeks try to continue with the Saturday practice.

Thanks

Hi,

I didn't make practice Saturday at all. RL issue got in the way.

As for Zarn's comments re attendance, he is right, and this isn't news, I have mentioned this before.

Personally, RL is making it harder to make myself available for a regular Saturday morning practice. And as Zarn says, its been frustrating over the last couple of months to make the effort and have no one turn up.

Zarn and I have often talked about an evening practice, As Zarn mentioned. I didn't read this post until after today's match / praccy, otherwise we could have worked out a suitable evening.

As for alternative evenings, I RL issues mean I would miss every second Wedensday, so Tuseday or Thursday would be better for me, and I couldn't do 6 p.m. cos I would still be at work. Best time for me would be nearer 8 p.m.

My suggestion.

The two key figures within BSS/UK are Buton and Zarn .. if Sat AM practice is NOT working out.. abondon it now .. and go with the plan of Wed at British time of 6PM

The whole Sat Am thing was for the Brits to start with.. NOT the AU guys.. however the AU guys find that particular time 'perfect' for Assassins practice. However this is really an Assassins problem they need to work out.. so do what is best for the BSS/UK boys at this time.

What is important is to have practice where you can actually practice.. if no one shows up for Sat AM practice it looks really bad for BSS and is really deflating for you guys .. what we need is plenty of "positives".

My suggestion is go witht he gut feeling .. and the Assassins can work out their own problems.

Yes.. we still want to co-operate with the Assassins however they are in a really difficult time zone and we have to protect the BSS pilots first ..

There were three of us at the Saturday practice yesterday. Zarn, Adam and myself, I think MadDawg is have IT problems. We discussed the new day / time and agreed we would move from Saturday to Wednesday. I have posted as such.

I think with Picken, Adam, Maddawg, Zarn, Codlfire and myself once we get into this, we should have 6 pilots plus any other BSS around at that time. Also, FFA and Teams are quite busy, so we could get AA pilots and even guests, but our practice room will be seen by other EU based pilots which may help recruitment.

PS - glad to see your back Tbar, hope your well soon.
