MCVG-2 Group Seal

I'm not sure if this is a good place to put this post but it should make it to the folks who it needs to. My name is Treetom, and I am the captain of the graphics department for ToW. I'm here to show you the concept for your divisions main seal, and I need some input from your group. The inner most circle is the area that you can have for what ever it is that you like. Graphics, logos, mottos, etc... it's free choice on your end. But, it's just that. Your choice! Please talk it over and get back with me on your thoughts and ideas and I can get this made for your group.

I like the seal-though can we have Dept of the USMC instead of Air Force?

As someone who once served in the "Marines", let me try to tidy this up. The USMC as a military branch is a Department of the US Navy. Hence the name of "Marine" which basically means "both land and sea". The USMC is the official amphibious fighting arm for the US Navy but is their own military branch within the Department of Defense. So, the Marine Corps is a Department of the Navy but is their own operational organization in the "big picture".

Not trying to upset anyone here - Within tidesofwar MCVG-2 falls within the Air department as it is a flying sim (and not space/fantasy) - thats why Treetom has put airforce on the crest. I think TBar might like to contribute how tides views the possibly confusing concept of putting a flying Sim under the Naval section. I hope this doesnt upset anyone or cause problems.

I would suggest the MCVG-2 seal be reflected for its Naval heritage and then that "Emblem" or "Seal" be placed into the proper area of Tides.
