Teamspeak - Useful Settings

Chaps

I was playing in Teamspeak and set up a few things.

I decided to use the F5 to F8 keys for Comms and set the "Settings" / "Key Settings" as follows:

F5 = Standard Transmit Key

F6 = Whisper to channel IL2 - MCVG-2 Fighter, IL2 - MCVG-2 Bomber, IL2 - MCVG-2 Scouts, IL2 - MCVG-2 Cap, IL2 - MCVG-2 Flyco / Mess

F7 = Whisper to all "Channel Commanders"

F8 = switch to IL2 - MCVG-2 Flyco / Mess

RIGHT SHIFT + F8 = switch to IL2 - MCVG-2 Scouts

Right Ctrl + F8 = switch to the Mess and Toggle me as away

This allows me as a Scout to:

1. Talk to my wingmen via F5

2. Talk to Everyone via F6

3. Talk to my Flight Leaders, if they are Channel Commanders, via F7

4. Switch to Flyco for recovery, thus avoiding interupting the fighting frequencies, via F8

5. Switch back to my own channel, Scouts, via Shift and F8

6. Mark myself away when needed via Ctrl F8

So, F8 is for all Frequency Switching, F7 for Command Calls, F6 for Broadcasts like enemy contact reports and F5 for local fighting pair calls like "In" and "Off".

This may be of use to others, but I recommend a the Flight Leaders mark themselves as "Channel Commanders" each time.
