The USAAC Charter .. Emergency Meetings

The BoD approved and voted the USAAC Charter into place. Each and every 1st voice .. AND second voice was given an opportunity to fully understand, comment on, the document that is now our rules.
ToW_Tbar: 2__ BoD Agenda. BoD cannot vote, rule or otherwise pass or amend documents without Public notice on Agenda 7 days in advance. Public Notice must be posted on the USAAC Forums in the appropriate sections in full public view without restriction of view or reply/input/dissenting voice
Emergency meetings are necessary, legal , etc, however no voting can take place for any reason UNTIL a public notice is made RE: BoD Meeting and the agenda is public in that notice.

I post this as a reminder.

HISTORICLY:

The Directory calls for a meeting, issues instructions to the Secretary to make public notice and review the agenda to be posted. Emergency meeting, with notice, the BoD can table all other discussion to address the main addition to the Agenda RE: Reason for meeting.

Any person can call for a BoD meeting, even the public.

I dont know Hawk,

Is a voice and active participant in the USAAC encouraged to "not show up" to a USAAC meeting?

Here is an excerpt from last nights meeting...

Pogun: Are we in agreement to go ahead and let Firestorm host on one of his servers?

Pogun: I say Yes

Tbar:( unaudible),,,,running the meeting?

Pogun: I stepped up because it was too quiet

Tbar: Excellent,Whos next,me in line?

Popgun: yup

Tbar: By order of my CO I am to OBSTAIN.....

Tbar: But I think you can give the Webmaster directive that we are going to follow whatever his reccomendations are and By God he can get some work done.

Kid: (makes motion to Sky to give direction/directive to Firestorm............)

My Query would be to find out..

Obstain from what? Showing up to the meeting? discussing on the issue at hand? It would not be to obstain from voting as there was to be no vote that night. Im sure Joker as a long time member of BoD would know that there would be no vote on an issue unless it was put to public 7 days in advance as Tbar already knew.

So what was the the order from Joker to obstain from ? I didnt see a post saying before hand that Joker could not attent the meeting either. Perhaps an oversight but he was directly invilved in the forums and discussions before hand.

So what is the penalty or ramifications of a squad not showing to a meeting then being ordered to obsatin (from?)

The topic was 'voting' . I was to abstain from voting (joker felt no voting should be done per charter, also joker could not attend meeting due to previous planned engagement) You know that.. don't use the 'snip' key, it 'snips' out too much important stuff ... always give the audience full view.. or audio :)

How did you get your invitation and notice of meeting guys? I got mine in a PM, Joker got a PM and 'answered' the PM he could not attend.
I was checking timestamp function.
If all is correct Tbar posted this info 15 minutes before meeting but failed to show up to meeting while sitting on ToW TS. I believe Temper had to go get him 10- 15 mins into meeting

Tbar was at the meeting .. per your post and quotes .. silly boy.. wut you trying to start here?

Temper never spoke to Tbar on ToW TS and reminded me of any meeting... where you get that from?

Tbar was late, because he was tied up in another meeting which I left early to attend the USAAC meeting. Late, but better than not at all. I think I did a grand job getting thru another meeting to attend to the USAAC informal gathering.

BTW, I gave good advise when asked and was a positive and productive attending member.

Wut goes down here? A joke of some type? You sure got me on this one :)

If I check attendance records, Tbar has only missed ONE scheduled BoD meeting since the BoD started. But I can find plenty of cases of entire squad representatives not be present at all.. for important meetings .. and for several months at a time. I can find plenty of members who arrived late.

Not trying to start anything just wondering why.........

Temper said he was going to get you on ts to bring you to the meeting 3 minutes before you came in so naturally I thought he carried through.......

We didnt see any communication from you or Joker saying you wouldnt be able to make meeting,,,

so being the stickler for detail and protocol that you are I was surprised that no post that you had other meetimng...

Yes you always do a grand job ,,, another reason why you not being there and no advance notice of previous engagement was strange.

Good advice yes almost always !

Other members not showing other times yes,, i agree,,
