Abusing Referees
It's been brought to my attention that a Ref was verbally abused during one of yesterdays matches. I'm sending this to all c/os but the guilty party will know what I'm on about.

Referees , ref volunterily, they don't have to give up their spare time so we can all enjoy various league matches. Please respect them. If you have any complaints regarding a ref then use the proper channels by contacting the LM or any of the head refs, but abusing them during a match will not be tolerated and any repeat of this may forfeit you the match or cost you league points.

I would hope those responsible will take the time to consider thier actions and appologise to the ref in question.

Let me say that the BSS Mgmt won't tolerate the type of conduct implied above in "Nemo's" PM. I'm guessing that a pilot got ticked off at a Ref and cursed them out .. or used wording that was not nice.

I would hope that all other Squads of the USAAC would have similar response. I wonder however, would those CO's respond with a similar post .. and would they actually back it up.

We have Temper. Does not matter if you like him or not, or if he likes you or not. He takes all complaints seriously and does address them. He's fair, and honest.

I know from my own efforts here at USAAC most pilots don't really appreciate or respect the time put in for 'our fun'. These "volunteers" never get the praise, respect or acknowledgment they deserve. The last thing in the world we want to do is attack or abuse "volunteers". If they have made an error .. let it pass .. just report to your CO .. they know what to do and how ...

As a pilot .. I like the competition. I'm as guilty as most and forget to 'thank' the referee. Many of us just 'assume' and take the referee being there is just.. well .. he's supposed to be there so whats the big deal? These people are dedicated and should receive all our respect for the "volunteer" work there do. Ya know.. if there is a bad Ref .. our leaders will find them quickly and make adjustments (Temper is good at this).

Why do we have to cuss out or abuse a Referee? Next time I don't like the call of a Ref .. I'm gonna curse out my CO in private .. let him go express my "feelings" for me...

I sure wish I knew more about what triggered Nemo's PM in detail ..

for record keeping and historical purposes shouldnt something of that nature been mentioned in the referees report of the match?

I think it would but yet dont see any info on it.

Sorry Tbar but wtf are you doing. This was a PM (private message) to all c/o's only. If I wanted it publicaly broadcasting I'm quite capable of doing it myself..

my two cents, not sure why you made this thread in first place ? This could turn very ugly, and even I have common sense to know that. LOL. Like nemo said, this should been kept in private.
