COMPUTER PROBLEMS

Hey guys,

A little update on my computer. My Sound drive is dead compltey and my Internet is now dying, except for Air Attack for some reason. Only on my comuter. Im using my Laptop for all my e-mails and Posts. Im thinking of getting a new computer or completley cleaning out the one i have. As for TS it is gone for now, i managed to get in on the LTS ( Open ) but my sound drive prevented me of speaking or even being able to hear anyone.

ok guys,

Ty Joker for those suggestion earlier. They are working GREAT!!! Only problem is my sound drive still isn't recognizing TS and my headset. My headset in installation wants a file which cant b fond on my PC but could last year, so probably deleted by accident. I don't think anything else could have happened now that I've defragged my whole PC and guttered out the Spyware. which means TS is gone until some1 from work can come and find my back up files.

What you are looking for Bryz is the Hardware Drivers. The driver is a software program that dictates what the hard ware is supposed to do and it lets that device connect with your mother board.

Look for a benchmark program called AIDA32. Download this program and here is what you need to do step by step:

1. Open up your "My Documents" Folder.

2. Make a new file in that folder. You do this by right clicking pick "New" and Then "Folder" Name it AIDA32.

3. Download the AIDA32 program or "UNZIP" it to the new folder you just made.

4. Go to the folder and click on the and look for the ADIA32 application file and click on it. This will start the Aida 32 program Once it come up look for the multimedia Icon. Click on it and it should show you what sound card you have.

OR if you don't want to download AIDA32, You can right click on the "My Computer" Icon on you desk top. GO to Properties, Go to Device Manager, Click on it and look for you your sound card or audio card in the hardware profile. Let me know what you have and I'll see if I can find the drivers for you. Most of the time these are free.

well jonny,

TS works fine, it's my sound files which r the problem. Some hav been deleted, the major one which i've already said is needed to use most audio things on this PC is missing. So i need to somehow get that file back. With what joker has told me to do it's fixed except that file.

But ty for your suggestion.

ok guys,

Tbar has given me strict orders to get my TS up and running. What i've done so far is everything Joker has told me to do, everything worked but didnt get that sound file back. I've gone around trying to download replacement Drivers. The one i've tried most is "Realtek AC97 Audio" thats my sound file...most of it has been deleted so im going to scrap it and download it all over again. Then if that doesnt work ill have to upgrade from that download another better 1. And if that fails. NEW PC! My parents dont actually care, im pretty much independent now, all they tell me is go ot bed and when to do my chours, apart from that im solo. I've earned about $230 Aus, and my parents said they will supply the rest if needed ( They pay credit card and i giv them the cash ). I'll cya on TS soon, it should be done by US morning.
