Yes Sir, Yes Sir, Three Bags Full. LTS Fun Event

#1
Another fun LTS event last night. In last nights event there was a good turn out of the BSS squad with 3 brand new members showing up to fly. In addtion, USHA and and TS squad had some pilots in attendance, I think that there may even have been some FD pilots hanging around too. Tbar came in to ref the game, but at the start it didn't look like many people were going to fly. I relieved Tbar of his reffing duties and let him get back to some important work. I figured with only 8 pilots in attendance that reffing the event would be a pretty easy thing to keep up with.

With many of the SU team being very new Black Sheep members, they didn't quite have the understanding of the game. Going off in different directions from the scramble with some crashes of course it was kind a like watching the Keystone Cops. I just let them go off and do there own thing to see what would happen. It was quite fun to see. Lil_J seemed to have the right idea by winging with me, but unfortunately for him I'm not that good of a pilot to keep him out of trouble. Sorry Lil_J. The sheep where getting sheared, and bags of wool were falling from the skies, but every now and then we'd see a few angel feathers floating to the ground too.

Another import feature missing from the game was that NO ONE on the SU team was on Team Speak. As everyone knows communication is a big part of a winning teams game plan. It's beyond me why everyone doesn't use team speak. It's free, its easy to use and all it takes is a headset with microphone, for really good communication.

Getting back to the game, by the time the third round came in to play we had 18 to 20 pilots in the game flying. Trying to keep the teams balanced was not much of a problem as most pilots saw what was happening and got the teams fairly even through out the night. Thanks for the help gentlemen.

The SU team only won 1 round with the GE team taking 7 rounds for there selves. Still the game was a lot of fun and I look forward to flying in many more.

If you'd like to check out LTS (Last Team Standing) for yourself, you can join in with us on Wednesday Nights at 9:00 PM EST. Join either the SU of GE team and get ready to rumble. Before you do join in take a couple of minutes to read the rules as they are enforced. To join your team on team speak there are a couple of buttons on the bottom of the game launch page. Just pick your team, click the button and you'll be put on the Team Speak channel with your team mates.

Thats all for this week, clear skies pilots, See you in the skies of Air Attack!
