Tuesday Night Practice Report

Tuesday Nights practice went well. In attendance were JoKeR, Talon, Hollywood and Rew89. I opened up a FFA rookie room so we conduct practice and we went at it. At first it was just Hollywood and Myself. Talon joined in a short while later and then Rew89 appeared after him.

I started in a LA7, Hollywood and Talon chose to fly BF-109K4 and I think Rew89 took the BF-109K6 (older model).

Of all the pilots I had the most trouble Hollywood was the most difficult. The guy could flat turn the plane around on a dime and get the guns on you really fast. I tried using the speed of the LA7 and didn't turn when we went head to head, but most of the time he turned so fast and shot me that it killed my power and I made an easy kill for him. I noticed that Talon still likes to pull back on the stick and go up hard which made it quite easy for me to follow and get the kill. I think I did this no less than 4 times. I myself do the same thing hoping get out of the way of hot lead, then when you think about it trying to out climb a K4 is kind of stupid. May be the best thing would be to turn hard a couple of times and then do a roll over. I did this a couple of time to Rew89 and Hollywood when they attacked from higher positions. I must say that there was some good follow up kills from the guys in the GE planes.

All in all it was a good practice. I would like to see more people attend, but I guess there are better things to be doing.
