BSS Tuesday Evening Practice

well hell been a long time since i wrote one of these so bear with me.....

Practice started on time with myself, Hollywood, Packers and Warwolfe.....i put the young-uns on GB and i climbed into my faithfull 109 and we did a base pinned scenario...i heard that last match we got pinned and they wouldnt let up so i figured it would be good to work on getting off a pinned base.....i got to bout 3k alt and got above the GB base and then instructed the young-uns to get off the base if they could with me working from above. I kept the pressure on as much as i could instructing them to use their AA....thats what its there for...get off the runway and start circling the base as you climb out...when you think you have a chance make a break for it. It went really well...we were having a good time and a pilot named Rew something joined us said he was on the AWOL list and needs to talk to Joker bout being moved off it....anyways he got on GE with me and we really started putting the pressure on..Jonny came in and it evened it out 3 vrs 3 with us trying to keep them pinned down....Hollywood had to leave early and eventualy wound up with me and jonny vrs Warwolfe and Rew....i was very impressed with the young-uns working together and talking it up on comms way to go guys...

That was a very fine report, and this is the kind of leadership that I'm looking for in the BSS. Well done Mr. Strife.

I'm so sorry that I couldn't be there with you all. Yesterday afternoon my room mate called me form work and asked me if I could come pick her up from and take her to the hospital, which I did. She has been having a little trouble with bronchitis and I was at the hospital with her till about 9:00 PM when they released her. We got home about 10:00 PM picking dinner up along the way.

Now I'm starting to feel a little congestion in my lungs, too.

Anyway, good practice, Keep up the good work.
