BSS Report by Tbar

We did very well. Things start BEFORE the match .. and just like our practice's .. we had mic checks .. who's on TS etc. We had a line up .. moved pilots to GE to observe untill called upon etc. We did not have a lot of bull chat on the coms .. it was all very professional.

When the rounds started and we were given a 'scramble' each and every pilot was ready to go .. took off with NO COLLISIONS. Each pilot had a choice of planes.. either spit, LA7 or 109. Each pilot flew that aircraft properly to get to proper alts ..with correct spacings .. and they called alts, visuals and who they were in on.. Results: WIN!!

It appeared .. that the BBC was NOT well organized, did not have a good execution. They were NOT EZ kills however.. but BSS flew as a SQUAD .. and won the day

Now.. rumor has it .. that the BBC didn't even know the rules .. had collisions on take off .. had pilot confused as to what to do .. and that they did NOT practice for the rules we had to follow. Seems .. Popgun is in a little hot water over at the BBC .. hehe .. Popgun knew the rules

Special note on the 5th round:

It appeared to me .. that we lost that round because there was 3 BBC on 1 BSS .. it didn't look good. The moral of this round .. is never .. I repeat .. never give up .. Air Boss found himself against 3 BBC pilots.. and WON THE ROUND!!! SPECIAL RECOGNITION FOR THE SKILL OF AIR BOSS AND NEVER GIVING UP!! Let this be a lesson to me . and the squad as a whole

Tbar, this would be a perfect example for one of the medals/achievements/merits thats being worked on ..3 vs 1 and defeating all; definitely deserves something!!! well since Tbar beat me to posting this i'll just add my 2 cents worth...

First off

Hollywood.....who was asked to sit on GE because we had to many pilots.....us of all people had to many pilots

The game started with a little confusion on BBC's part and myself,Airboss and Talon flew 109's with Tbar,Coldfire,Deadlock in Spits and TopGun in a LA7. We got off the ground without any crashes....couple of close calls but no crashes.Me and the other 109's comenced to gain as much Alt as we could to fly top cover and the spits and LA7 to take mid and low level positions. Everyone was calling Alt's and contacts with efficiency and like Tbar said comm's were mostly clear for this with no chatter....Cept when Tbar thought we lost the round and AirBoss took 3 of em on and kicked their butts when this happened we were all on comms giving encouragement to Boss as he methodicly took em down. we took 3 of the 4 first rounds which the one they won would have been ours on a forfeit because BBC had to many pilots take off. At the beging of the second half again more confusion on the BBC's side as they were trying to figure out who was going fly and who was not. They took the first round of the second half and then we buckled down and took the next one. I believe AirBoss had to leave at the first of the third round which left us with 6 pilots against their 7 and no AirBoss. We took both the third and forthrounds with Coldfire pulling out the last round against 2 of their pilots. As Tbar said:

we definately stomped a mudhole and i am very proud of all that flew. We did a hell of a job today.

I want to thank all that showed and flew we taught them that BSS aint a squad to just push around anymore. So all i have to say now is

I knew that you guys could win this thing. I must say I was a little scared because we had almost no one show up for practices or responding to the posts made in the forums. We all need to keep an eye on everything posted here AND respond to them.

Contrats to Air Boss and Coldfire of defeating the odds of overcoming multiple pilots.

I wish I could of been there to fly with you guys, but due to my new job I could not. I will however be at tonight match. It should be the same format as last nights, but we may fly 2 squad rules too.

We did AWSOME!!! THIS right here is why i love the BSS!

ill just add this little bit for the 3 fun rounds after.

It was Talon Grim and Coldfire for the BSS and Danger Delta and some other one i forgot who for BBC.

I tried reffing once and according to them i did pretty good for my first time.. here is what happened,

on scramble hte BSS did the same thing we did in the real match, got alt for the Engage now command. BBC took off fast and went for alt they had a good triangle formation that worked well. on ENGAGE NOW! they all went for it and we took em out. the second round had the same outcome... GREAT JOB SHEEP!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB AGAIN! there wasnt a third round cuz we played the best 2 out of 3 and won right away lol.... we all played fair and well

after that me Talon Grim and Deadlock went to FFA for a bit then got a challenge from OneVision that was all pilots vrs BSS in teams.. so we took that challenge happily.. BSS was on SU the others on GE. It was a hard battle but we had em pinned a few times. a little bit later NUDGE came in and gave us his skills. we fought hard and won a tie.. many battles were in the middle of the map.. mostly because we were greatly outnumbered.. 4 to 8 or 9 lol....

we did great sheep!! keep up the good work...

Also.. keep in mind we need a graphics guys to do it. I'm really picky about such things. We need every image is 3 resolutions.

150x150 250x250 600x600 at a dpi appropriate for each size.

Your right .. its the perfect example It should be a 'Top Gun' type of medal.
