I decided to post this here on a separate topic so it get more attention and feedback from all squad memebrs.

I have a plan idea for the next match and the coming other matches if it worked, it took me many hours to set and make the drawings for it..etc.

Here is the scenario:

- Suppose we are playing from GB Base and the other competitor squad is playing from GE Base and GB base is on the north east, and GE at the south west.

- we will have 2 major wings all flying spits, A Wing and B Wing taking off same time from GB Base, A wing is heading toward the enemy planes as they take off too while we are getting alt and speed.

- B wing is going toward the south while banking with an angle of about 20 degrees to the west and getting alt and speed too.

- while A wing is approaching the enemy planes and when the distance is getting close to 4000 ft between eachother, A wing make a loop roll to reverse direction and go away from the enemy to the north east about 30 degree like if they are escaping from them.

- Enemy planes will follow A wing but they are behind us on a safe distance so we are not on their shooting range and they shouldn't be a threat for A wing.

- B wing is getting behind enemy planes.

- A wing is returning back to the opposite direction to the south west to face enemy planes while B wing almost reached their backs and putting them under pressure like a sandwich. that's why i call it The Sandwich Plan.

- the purpose of A wing going back and forth is for 2 main reasons:

a. to give B wing enough time to make a very wide turn away from the enemy at the center of the map and going behind them.

b. to drag enemy planes near our base and away from their own base and that's also have 2 additional benefits:

c. if they got hit and need parts they can't make it home again until they get killed by any of our pilots.

d. to get them near our AA gun range and force them to getting killed if they have to by it near our base.

- Both A wing and B wing is normally will try to achieve 7000 ft altitude and about 260 knots on speed with spits.

- A wing will be consisted of 4 pilots and B wing of 4 pilots too. so total is 8 planes.

- we can edit the plan and make it more complicated too and more better by making A wing gaining even more altitude while running away/escaping from the enemy so when they turn back to fight they are superior by nature situation before they even fight then they dive on them and start hunting.

- A wing and B wing at the final meeting point with the enemy around the center of the map they will dogfight freely with enemy planes with no restrictions.

- we can create mini-wings consisted of couple of pilots defined earlier to cover eachother with separate TS channel if necessary. and Tbar and Joker will be giving orders to all channels same time.

- B Wing will not intercept at all until they wrap around the enemy planes from a wide circle and attack them from behind, that will get them like a sandwich between 2 wings of ours as i said, making them distracted and have a few good planes on their six and whomever survive and try to run home from the first wing will get killed by the other anyway.

- even if the other squad got smart and understood this evil plan lol *joking* all they can do and nothing else is to send some pilots to block 'B wing' on their way but we are still safe and B wing will have permission to fight if necessary and continue the same plan. but that will make A wing to fly a little far away before they turn back.

- if the GE base or whatever base the competitor squad is taking off from is different, the same plan can apply just we need very minor modification to directions.

for instance, If the GE base located at the south east and we taking off from GB base from north east..A wing will head straight toward south and then turn back..etc and B wing will head toward south west to wrap around them..etc as explained above.

and here is a drawing i made giving you a better picture of how the plan should work.

Please let me know what you think guys especially Tbar and Joker..

any comments, suggestions, modifications..are very welcome from all members.

a few probs wit dat... ummm for 1the part about loopin round at 4000 is a HUGE mistake... it will take more than 4000 ft to loop safely...maybe 6500 at least..... and the all spit idea is great but i have a better idea(ill get to that later)

the second thing ya gotta realize is the enemy isnt gonna do eveything we want them to....

so many i deas might not ever work....

my plan is this

Me the following pilots take GB

Top_Gun

Coldfire

Red_Ace

Blackwolf

And if any of these come so will they: fefnir Kane and ne newer pilots to either AA or BSS

Any other pilots that are more experienced with BSS and AA take SU

and the plan would be for all pilots to go straight to each others bases and gain alt/speed/and get in a good formation

then when each team is at 3squares away from the other base they both head south and get

AS MUCH alt and speed as possible and they will come at us and we will be at at least

25k or more(and climbing!) so wat we do up there besides gain alt is form into one group(SU/GB flying together)

when they get at 7k or less beneath us we dive on them.. SU will dive first followed by GB so GB can pick up any straglers...

the SU's main job is to kill and or weaken them enogh for GB to pick em off 1by1... so that means 1 pass for the SU and then move onto another plane(hopefully the SU have weakened them enough(or killed them if possible)for us spits to easily finish em off

that is my plan....

how do yall like it?

plz say wat you think

ok, looping around at 6500 ft or more is better.

and about the part that "the enemy isnt gonna do eveything we want them to" i had thought of that and it's true but as i said above that all they can do if they discover what we are doing, is not to go after A wing and stay still or looping at the center of the map and send some pilots to try to intercept B wing. and in this situation we are still safe and A and B wings will reverse jobs and A wing will then come back and pressure them from behind as B wing should have done in normal case.

your plan sounds good too but need some modifications :

about the part u said:

"and the plan would be for all pilots to go straight to each others bases and gain alt/speed/and get in a good formation

then when each team is at 3squares away from the other base they both head south and get

AS MUCH alt and speed as possible and they will come at us and we will be at at least

25k or more"

now i can't visualize this..after each wing is going toward eachother base then head south we are not making any formation yet as u said.

also i think they won't give us enough time and they can head straight toward us after they gain alt and speed and force us to engage early.

and i don't think we can reach 25 K alt just flying from base to base, we need to either fly longer distance on the map or climb hard and lose speed and thats wrong.

we can head toward eachother base then head toward the center of the map and our flight path will be like a triangle instead of going south so we make a formation and start to fight.

well ya no the trick about climbin fast?

you must climb as much as possible while still gaining speed ata s steady rate...(thx to T-bar for that hint :) ) and i bleave if we work at it on sat we will achieve that goal... i no we can do it....

even if the do try to engage us early they will have to deal with anti air bcuz they hve to turn RIGHT

away to engage us and i doubt once they see wat were doin that theyll engege us rite away... thts wat i think....

There's a small problem:

The bases aren't placed that way.

The base labeled as GE is really US. So you may have to rethink it.

Coldfire,

Jonny is correct about the base locations. Looking at your map with the GB base placed as it is now,

GB coming stright off the end of their runway would have the GE base directly in front of them at 180 degrees on the compass reading.

The base that you have marked as GE is acutally the US base. The SU base is of course in trhe top left corner of your map SU would come off of thier base heading directly towards the GB base at 90 degrees on the compass reading.

The GE team would come off of their base heading Directly at the US base at 270 degrees.

This leaves us with the US base, in which you would come off of that base and head toward the SU base at a heading of 000 on the compass.

By the way the drawing is excellent and we should use these kinds of drawing to help us in training.

Becareful though if Tbar see it, you may find yourself with a new job!!! lol 😵

hmm ok, thanks top gun, jonny and joker for the important corrections, we can fix that and change GE base location to the south east corner and we can still apply the same plan somehow i think :?

or at least assume for now they are taking off from US base Image lol

changing GE base location totally messed the whole thing up 😵 and honestly i'm lazy to draw it again Image

knowing that they took off from south east and head to south west directly to gain alt and speed and then turn to engage with us. I will try to draw another map later if i have time cause this type of drawing is kinda time consuming. and if it doesn't work at all with the same plan we can try and come up with something else maybe the plan top gun mentioned. it should work well too.

we can leave this topic open for plan discussions for our squad, maybe u can pin the topic or something joker Image so all members can share their thoughts with the squad command from now on..

and without plans at all we can even fly all of us as one wing with all spits and score better.

and thanks joker for the compliment about the drawing

glad u like it..
