Me Too Sky;
ages ago, I should have started out with a trainer, but, Mr. know it all decided
on a larger scale! I had so much money tied up in it, That all I did was taxi on the
school parking lot, until I left some guy that was flying his one day, and said, nice plane,
how much you got in it, Oh about $1200.00 or so counting the special servos, engine, radio
and etc. "Do you care if I take it up?" , I bet it will fly good, it's a waste to see it running
around just on the ground!" I handed him the radio, a few minutes later, he trashed it!!!
I built mine too Sky, had to use a heat gun on the covers of the fuselage and wings,
most expensive was the engine & certain props, Do you use an electric hand "Prop"
starter to start the engine? if it's fueled piston combustion engine) to give you an Iedea
of the size of this R/C plane it's length from prop to tail was over 60," with a fuselage
width at the wings set on was over 10 inches and wing span 5'feet 2" inches. You want
a good tip for repair? (in case you damage the body in general) "Use Super Glue with
House hold Baking Soda (Arm & Hammer)! It is very light weight in repair, dries as soon
as a drop of super glue touches the soda! or if it is gel super glue, where your sprinkle alot
of soda on to the gel line or spots! It hardens faster & 100 times better than epoxy, other
glues & liquid weld! it adheres to every thing, Balsa wood, metal all types, plastic, starfoam,
rubber & an endless list of etc. If you doubt this, buy a tube under a $1.00 and Baking
Soda under .79 cents, take 2 tooth picks, put them end to end laying on the table ( put
something under them to protect the table from adhereing to the tooth pics) plase a drop
of liquid super glue at the point of joint, within 5 seconds put a drop of baking soda (a match
head size) on top of glue, and add 1 more match head drop of super glue to the baking
soda! instant hardness, now try to separate the two with out breaking them. Any other Tip
, give me a holler, such as Servo control line rods adjustment & alignment to alerions (flaps)
rudder, throttle and weight balancing & lighter and better reinforcing the fuselage, wings &
etc. I would be more than willing to help you. Gunny / Semper Fi
